  1. The ONLY GLAREING mistake is NOT YOURS!!! It's the way Revell DID NOT do the rear tailight valance on this beautiful car properly. It SHOULD be angled bacK into the body, with the top leading edge sticking out farther than the bottOm edge. I've done this mod to both Nova's I've built, and added the mod to two more that I plan to build. It's just a shame that Revell spent ALL that money to do ANOTHER Nova, then screw up on this little but VERY NOTCEABLE TRAIT!(iF YOU owned ONE, YOU SAW IT immediately!!!!!) YOU did GREAT job on this one!
  2. Well no wonder why i like this rascal so much. You MY kinda foo!!!! Glad ta see ya here bro!
  3. Tha colors are good, Lo-Lo, but yeah, I think you did right to change the wheels. Looks like a REAL car now. Them angled jobs just din't do anything for it, but be different. The Paint job MORE than makes up for the crooked wheels! JMHO.
  4. I'm still lookin forward to this one, even though I have two of each, the 70 and 71 MPC Cuda's. It will be interesting to compare, AND they'll be done with up to date technology, so I won't have to gut an cut anymore B- Bodies just to get their chassis and engine compartments! Oh yeah you betta believe I'm waitin on THIS one!!!
  5. When Mike DeLuca was runnin his resin Casting buisness, Shucky's, he provided cogged belts for his Centrifical Superchargers. I gotta couple of them and they are NICE! Maybe he still has access to his supply and can get the drive belts for you. Can't hurt to ask.
  6. I just saw this! WOW! Your doin a GREAT job on it! Thanks for the WIP pics, GREAT help! The colors perfect for it too. I like the way you flared out the rear running board. Nice touch!
  7. EEEEyep, I theen thas reel!!!
  8. Looks good so far James. Do you go by "wundabread" on other forums?
  9. You Know, Thierry, I THINK that AMT released a Livestock Trailer many years ago. You MIGHT want to try looking on E-Bay for one. MIGHT save you the hassle of building one from scratch.
  10. That car was SOOOOOO pretty you coulda painted it MUD and it'd STILL be a BEAUTIFUL car! That color looks GREAT on it!
  11. VERY nice job on this! The color is perfect, the interior matches it GREAT, and you have a VERY nice clean way of building! VERY nice!!!!
  12. I've NEVER gotten a kit WITHOUT a BODY! I've gotten them with missing parts trees, but NEVER a whole body.
  13. The man hit it RIGHT on the head!!!!
  14. And an honest one it IS! It also helps ta know all these kooks, Which I am ALSO fortunate enough to say I do. THey are the coolest gang of nuts you could EVER wanna hang with, and i'm proud to call them my freinds! Plus I get ta see all the cool stuff they're bringin out!
  15. I got a pontiac Solstice, by Burago or Maisto, don't quite remember. It's a very nicely done model, and about the closest you'll come of finding a model of one. My wife's co-worker has one, and it is a VERY nice driveing little car. To bad GM killed Pontiac AND Saturn!!!
  16. Yeeesh, it's beautiful, Thierry! Looks even better pullin a load! Your doin GREAT with it!
  17. This is a nice model. my best friend in high school's wife had one brand new. It was her graduation present.DM did this one VERY nicely!!!
  18. Paul is a GREAT guy. Kinda quiet. but not NOWHERE near as nutty as the REST of the guys!(At least to ME he's not!) IF you HAVEN'T ordered anything from D.R.A.G. (Detroit Resin Auto Casters) Do so with COMPLETE confidence. They are a PROFFESIONAL group of guys who will do whatever it takes to provide the BEST service available. They REALLY care about their buisness AND CUSTOMERS! These guys are the folks who OTHER casters WISH they could be like! I'd put them up to Replicas in Miniatures, ModelHaus, or ANY OTHER resin caster that is a REPUTABLE buisness, Yep, they're THAT GOOD!!!
  19. My feelings exactly!
  20. That kit is 24th scale. Kinda basic as model;s go, it DOES have an engine, opening hood and such. It IS a nicely buildable kit, but it doesn't fall together like a snapper. You DO hafta work at it to make it REAL nice, but it IS a nice buildable kit. Hth.
  21. Awwww Troy, that's only caz he's A REAL modeler, and not just one of us guys who put kits together! When your THIS deep, nothing else will do. This way you KNOW the part is right because YOU BUILT IT! You ARE a very talented gentleman, I do gotta admit that! Doin GREAT so far!!!!
  22. Hey, I'm USED ta Harry by know! He's not at all a bad guy, just keep the mosquito repellant handy!(That ol blood sucker!) For those of ya'll that have to bear it along with me, HAPPY Birfday to YOU'S TOO! To the REST of the nut factory, THANKS AGAIN!!! You guys'll be a year older before ya knows it!!!!!!
  23. Hey kidd-o, you ain't THAT far behind! Thanks guys!
