Guys, I was able to get the Lindberg GB Racer, I got it cause I read it was closer to 26th /27th scale than 32nd, and that'll do for me. Got it for 13 bucks. Is the Laird Turner meteor the same way? It says it's 32nd too, but I thought I read here that it too was closer to the GB in scale. Anybody know for sure? Don't wanna get it if it's ACTUALLY 32nd scale. Thanks guys!

The one that got away.

Mine was a 69 Charger R/T. Triple black with the Emblems on the rear quarters an stripe delete. It was a 440 4spd,and it was the NICEST car I've ever owned. I've had a few other real nice cars, a 69 440 automatic Super B, a 79 Trans Am, a 83 Z/28 amd a 69 Camaro. Now I have a 95 Impala SS. But that Charger, I STILL have dreams about it, and we NEVER talk about WHY I sold it. Glad she turned out to be worth it, but I STILL miss that car. -
Yeesh, now THAT'S what I call MODELING!!! Looks like a proffesional prototype! If you do cast this rascal, PLEASE put me down for one! Your doing a GREAT job so far!

265 thru 400 are SMALL block Chevy's. 366 thru 572 are BIG block chevys. There ARE 427 SMALL BLOCKS, done by boreing and strokeing. The 366 BIG BLOCK is a TRUCK ONLY engine, and the rest are both car AND truck engines. Plus, they are both physically different. The Big chevy is... BIGGER than a small block, and has separate exhast ports, and the small block has the center two cylinders siamised. oh, and it's smaller.

How Best To Fix Broken Car Body
george 53 replied to gwolf's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
NOPE! THAT is why you purchased from a leading dealer. Return it, get a BRAND NEW one, you AND your money are worth the added fuss. DO NOT ACCEPT shoddy products "Just because" it helps NO ONE. -
This is such a pretty car. Barris just changed a few things to turn it into the Batmobile, and I for one am GLAD he did. Wouldn't have had my FAVORITE TV car if he hadn't! Your Futura came out GREAT!

Revell 1968 Hemi Dart - First Look
george 53 replied to Len Carsner's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Tony ALL three versions of this kit, the Hemi Dart, the 68 and 69 go together very nicely! no real suprises. Hemi Dart needs it's rear wheelwells opened up, but other than that, it builds as easy as the others. You'll like it. -
Me too!

Can't get a NEW GTO as they AND Pontiac Motor Division NO longer exist! TRY to find a used one at a reasonable REALISTIC price. I on my THIRD 95 Impala SS. One was hit by a drunk old woman, it's replacemant was STOLEN out of a GM Plant PARKING LOT, and IT's replacement STAYS in my garage. it JUST turned 99,000 miles. It's a GREAT car, and it's my last hot rod.

Cato, car modelers build for themselves. If Don WANTS it to be an 815 who are WE to argue? WE didn't build it, he did, and if he says it's an 815 I believe him.

PERFECT example of a NEW MAYBE customer. If he DOESN'T know who Don OR the Modelhaus is, Pics would do WONDERS for this gentleman. Us old guys who've known about Don from jump don't need any intros, but the NEW guys do, as is shown here.

Nope, the hoods are NOT an EXACT fit. You WILL have to either file the edges OR add 10,000 ths sheet plastic to the edges to make them fit, DEPENDING on if your adding an AMT 67/68 hood to a Revell kit, or vis/versa. They MUST be slightly modified. they are NOT drop in fits, and YES the sculpture lines WILL line up.

I have this as a diecast assemble kit. All I did was some detail painting and I think it came out pretty good! The PRE painted Die Casts of this kit are pretty nice indeed!

From what I understand, the NEW "Slingster" is a TOTALLY NEW kit in 1/25th scale, and NOT the OLD Monogram 1/24th kit. I like those old Closed coupe drag bodies! I'll definately have at least two!

But Eddie, eet's SOOOO cute, no????
