  1. That rear bumper is a 68, not a 69.
  2. DAYUM Kev, ya'd think ya worked with the big bully! I'LL cut ya some slack. Get back to work! But take it EASY, got it????
  3. Sits REAL nice over the tars! Colors pretty spiffy too. All in all,i'd say ya did a pretty good job with it! i sure like it!
  4. I gotta coupla them, but I like the bench and steelies, so I'll probably get a couple more! LoL!
  5. It IS a loss. Ray had quite a few off the wall kits. I wonder if anyone'll pick his line up? It'd be a real shame to loose such a variety of kits. Loosein Ray is bad enough!
  6. Try Kris Morgan at M.A.D. He's got GREAT dizzy's, coils and MSD systems. Check him out, you WON'T be sorry!
  7. We have a WOODWORKING section here??? REALLY????
  8. Oh, mix it in some liquid glue(cut it up first) and let it set. it'll become liquid again, really thick and rnny, and you can actually use it as filler! i've done it quite a few times and it works great!
  9. Thank You for the vote of confidence Ed, It's deeply appericiated. Yes, It is a VERY nicely done kit, it's really indistiguishable from styrene! IF Jo Han was STILL able to pop this kit, they'da dun it like THIS!
  10. Are we STILL on this subject??????
  11. I don't have this kit, but I was fortunate enough to see it's development and the final product. It uses some suspension components from the AMT 67 Mustang fastback (front rear suspensions/wheels,etc.)but other than that the donor kit COULD provide engine parts (if you wanted to do a V-8 GT version). It IS a VERY nice kit, well up to the standards set by all his other products. Plus, WHERE ya gonna find a kit as nice as this? You sure aren't gonna find a complete unbuilt kit anywhere NEAR what this kit'll run you. IF you get it, you WON'T be sorry. honest.
  12. Well it fer sure ain't yer run a the mill kinda racecar! Cool concept, Pro Lux! Looks great so far, can't wait ta see whats next!
  13. That is just BEAUTIFUL, It came out perfect!!! Just the right amount of chrome on that rascal too, not too gaudy, not too plain. It came REALLY nice, Thierry! Can you tell I LIKE it!!!????
  14. I talked with the gentleman who was running Ray's booth at the last Detroit Toy show. That was two weeks ago. He said then that Ray wasn't doing too well. He was a nice guy once you got to know him. He tolerated my questions and was freindly to me once he got used to seeing me at the shows. I'll miss him, he was a cool guy. Rest In Peace, Ray.
  15. I just watch in amazement! i NEVER know watcher gonna do, thats wat makes it so much fun! You must be a FUN Dad Ira!
  16. You started it ALL Harry, by askin a simple question! Foo....at'll larn ya!
  17. Had an older sister who's boyfreind owned one of these. CLASSY ride ia all i can say! buckets up front and that wrap around rear seat, AND those BAD lookin rear suicide doors!!! MAN was that a NICE car! You did yours right!
  18. 66 Tempest had the tailights at the ends of the rear tailight panels. They looked kinda oriental faned shaped. You'd have to make those after sanding the tailight panel flat. You can get the flat hood from the 'TripleX" release of the 67 GTO. Good luck. It's not that hard a conversion, you can do it!
  19. i THINK Franklin or Danbury did one, but maybe one of the guys would know for sure. i KNOW there was NEVER a 25th scale mass produced kit of this rascal. It was a pretty car.
  20. Tyrone, To be honest with ya bro, the hood from the Revell 69 Z/28 kit'll fit with a little fudgein'. Unless of course if you just WANTED to do it this way, i totally understand, ( I built my L-88 nova hoods this way) you did do an excellant job on it.
  21. Lookin at this tells me your a REAL glutton fer punishment! Must be WHY your still the head mod!!! GREAT skills in gettin the veneer to stick so nicely to the curves of the tailplanes! It's comming out REALLY nice Harry. It WILL BE VERY impressive when it's finished!
  22. Anne, Casting is NOT that hard to do if you just want to cast SMALL stuff. Once you get into casting car/truck bodies, and LARGER sized parts, THEN you need to invest money! The small starter kits from Micro-Mark are VERY convienient to try starting off with. Plus, Gregg has run a few articles on simple mold casting, wheels and stuff, that should be easy to copy. Try it, it's cool to use stuff YOU MADE yourself, plus it CAN be a point of pride in knowing you MADE it!
  23. Gotta agree with Bill on this one! The T-Bird's chassis is EXACTLY what you'll need if your looking for accuracy. It has a totally seperate front and rear suspension set up, and just flat out looks better.
  24. Personally, I'm suprised he smokes cigars.
