  3. Those redlines were the cat's patoot! I still keep them if I find em at swap meets. Some bigger cars(Impalas, Pontiacs, Galaxies an such)look just perfect with a nice set of Red Lines. That would be nice to see them again.
  4. First of all, how old are you, and do your parents know what your asking about on a public forum?

  12. VERY nice job grafting the roof on! Your Grandson will be REALLY happy to have a model car made ESPECIALLY for HIM, by his Pupa! Can't WAIT for mine to get a little older (he's two) so I can sit down with him, just like i used to with his Mom! His ride is lookin GREAT!
  13. I don't have any, anymore. I've been blessed to be able ta get an original release of the 1/12th kit of the Lola T-70 coupe by Tamiya , and a mint 1928 Ford sedan by AMT, so that's it. I've wanted these for SOOOOO long(the 28 since about 64 or 65 when they were first released) and the Lola since I first saw a real one in 66!. And the Batmobile is now with us, so MY list is complete!

  15. This was a GREAT show, too bad it didn't last long enough! I enjoyed it emmensly!
  16. ALOT of R&R's stuff is iffy, but Steve WILL let ya know just what it'll take ta make 'em right. I ONLY buy from him or Ray directly. One way to tell if it's a good kit is to SEE it an check it out. The other way is just ASK Steve what it's like. He'll be honest and WON'T steer ya wrong. Rays kit are NOT for beginners. An THAT'S a FACT!!!

  19. Man Harry, I'm the SAME way! GLAD I'm not alone!!!!
  20. My crux is paint! To me, the paint HAS to be right or it's all for naught! I'm TOO hard on myself about it, but that's the whole point of it for me. I WANT a nice looking model. It doesn't have to be all detailed out, just look good.I just gotta sit down an keep tryin at it. One of these days I'll get it. I know I will.
  21. Looks good. why you don't wanna do it again? It came out pretty nice.
  22. I thought Kev was in the next office. Or does he even got one?
  23. WOW, That's NICE! what did the fan hit you for,a where did ya get it? If you don't mind.
  24. I myself never saw a fully chromed out Elco like wats on the box. That one actually looks to have full Impala chromework. The ones I saw were plain jane Elco's with a single spear down the sides, or none at all. The interior A-pillar posts were painted metal, although i have seen them chromed.
