  3. Very NICE job on this one Bruno (as usual)! LOVE the color!
  4. Paul, The guys are refering to the ORIGINAL AMT release of the 1964 Tempest/LeMas kit/ GTO kit. They were both released but those rascals ARE expensive. If you don't mind the scale differences, you got a nice choice ta start from.
  5. Larger scale model. yeah, the windows just do look too dark. But hey I sure have been wrong before!
  6. No, he's a wizard. But don't tell anybody, shhhhhh! :D
  7. I once owned a 440 SuperBee that was close to that color. I think it was F-5 light green. NICE color!
  8. CARTOONS????? Guys, Popeye an Bluto, Roadrunner an Wiley, Bugs bunny, an Tom an Jerry were cartoons. You guys ARENT watchin cartoons. That Jap anime stuff is like FULL SCALE motion pictures compared to cartoons. ALL you guys gotta be younger than 55!.
  9. Happy Birthday, Bill!!! Missed ya at Toledo. Hopefully we'll meet again at a NNl. Maybe the NNL's east?!?
  10. Well, there ta go Paul. An this is from a gentleman who used to cast , so I kinda think he KNOWNS what he's talkin about. I'd take his word for it.
  11. Unless ya got an ORIGINAL AMT kit, problably the next is the Monogram 24th kit, then the Polar Lights kit in 25th scale.
  12. Welcome Dale, but yeah, someone SHOULDA warned ya!!! Jus pull up a chair an wait with the OTHER "Group W" guys!
  13. Both Don Holthouse and Norm Vebber cast these i believe. Check them out.
  14. Lo-Lo, that's green? looks more like a grey to me. Nice color though.
  15. Matt, just ask in the parts wanted thread. There may be a few guys that may have an extra.
  16. Tooooony! NICE job Bat worker! that's the cat(woman)'s meow!!!! If it built right out the box like that, it sure does build up NICE! Very nice job there Batfan!!!
  17. Lo-Lo, that rascal is lookin smooth already! It's gonna be a looker! GREAT color combo! !
  18. Daaaayum, That lil Cuda is BEAUTIFUL! VERY nice job ,Marc. (naturally! )
  19. The most accurate appearing Challenger to use is an ORIGINAL MPC., or the AMT kit. Glue on the roof, lightly sand off the vynil texture to smooth it out, use the 440 from the 71 Charger kit, and your good to go. The Revell Challenger is a bit large for 25th scale, but maybe it's just me. The Revell kit IS larger than the other two kits to me, that's why i mention it. Hth.
  20. So are we Gregg, but we'll have a good time for ya!!! MAN are YOU gonna ENJOY yerself!!!!
  21. Doug, DO NOT use a toaster oven to dry paint Brother, you WILL melt the plastic! A dehydrator is MADE for this sort of thing.
  22. Heck, never haveing seen one, it looks spot on ta me!!!
  23. I started with a Revell 1/32nd scale Chrysler New Yorker. With the multi-peice body. back in 59, on my 6th birthday.
