  4. No, i dont. Cars is cars is cars. That said. Traditional rods are great. "Rat rods" (god i hate that term) Are by very definition, JUNK!
  5. the more i look at it the less i dig the green. think im going to go with blue.
  6. duplicolour makes a good primer/sealer too
  7. its not completley finished but i cut the frame rails away from the molded in floor, narrwoed them, and am in the process of rebuilding the floor and wheel whells
  8. looks very cool chuck. i think the engine is the only good looking part of the hudson! lol
  9. just some mock up photos colour will be some shade of red, enging will be a big block, and i narrowed and backhalved the car myself. comments welcome

  13. small update, ive stripped the chrome off the heads ( will be painted with alclads polished aluminum) and the engine is nearly complete. i have to say I LOVE this kit. it is by far the best kit ive seen in a while and truthfully i like it even more then the merc kit.

  16. thanks man, it was hard pickin a colour for this one, i had half a dozen reds, and 3 or 4 different blues, and this green all lined up, just starin at em for about 45 minutes tryin to decide while i listened to some terror albums. eventually i went with the green
  17. road going vehicles running on propane is not new in the slightest

More or less a box stock build, tail dragger style. with a few machined parts to be added along the way. im not sure if im gonna use the kit supplied hub caps or machine a set of my own Since all of the tree builds of this kit ive seen so far have been some shade or another of red, ive decided to buck the trend and paint it... the paint is a dupont hue, Acadia green metallic and its sprayed over a duplicolour Candy base coat silver base, i will eventually clear everything with pro form 2 part urethane clear. and remember kids, RUST is the ENEMY.
