  1. Inspired by Nascars recent throwback race. The blue is not correct, and the white stripes were hand painted, Knowing how Petty like the mopars I used a AMT '09 Dodge Challenger and the wheels tires and axle's from a snap Jimmy Johnson Impala also made by amt.
  2. It started as the Kellogg's #5, Then Painted Black. The decals are from power slide which I got in the mail last week from Mikes Decals. I wanted Jr's Coca-Cola car but not the die cast that was made.
  3. I bought two MPC snap General Lee Chargers at Phils hobby shop in Fort Wayne Indiana for $10.99 each ( he bought 400 of them and got a good deal so he's passing the savings on to his customers.
  4. Pause the Video when he is holding the nova kit sticker in corner say's can be built stock.
  5. Gene Wilder passed away sunday he was 83 years old. Most will remember him in such classic movies as: willy wonka and the chocolate factory, Blazing sadle"s, Young Frankenstine, See no evil hear no evil and so on. He will be missed.
  6. Revell is monograms as well, and MPC is round2corp.com

  14. Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Buick, from 1950-59, Two door- four door &-station wagons Ford 1951-55, 58/59 also in 2 dr, 4 dr and station wagons, 57-59 pickup Nash/Ramblers 1950-59 Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth/ desoto 1950-59 also pickups Packard/studebaker 1950-59 International Harvester 1950-59 Pickups & panel vans
  15. Please don't blame the farmers as they are not making money on this ordeal! My grand mother had a farm and barley made much at the end of the year. Remember this: Famer has to pay for the seed, furterlizer, Fuel to plant, spay to keep weeds down, More fuel, Repairs on farm eqipment, food, insurance for the car's crop's equipment, Land taxes, propane to dry (if they have bins) Then if it's a bumper crop year they get less for the crop, the middle man and big corperations are the ones making the big Money on all this! Ethyl has been around along time, Most of us have see the gasoline ads where the customer say's fill'er up with ethyl. Those ads or from the 1950's< then the gasohol craze of the 1970's-80's also hit.
  16. More money for the dealers to repair Or force you to buy a new car!

  20. All I can say by the email that I had gotten from revell stated that a Flat hood version maybe in the works for next year.
  21. Since my first car was a 75 Olds Cutlass Supreme. Using the 77 Monte Carlo will be the closest way to do that car, Just wished Johan would have done it as a Supreme! I thought I did see a Johan 75 Cutlass Supreme promo once But never seen one since. That was in the mid eighty's at a Hobby Shop in Springfield Ohio, Which had long since closed. Maybe the owner of the shop got it from Johan But then Johan decided not to mass produce that version.
  22. I Think that the 442 will be the next one to be done of this kit, sometime next year maybe?
  23. Since being born in 1967 I have lots to choose from, But it all came down to this one!
  24. Anyone buy an extra Revell 77 Monte Carlo That they are willing to part with? I bought a Johan 74 Oldsmobile that the roof is toast on and need a Monte Carlo to redo the Oldsmobile with. I also posted in the Wanted section about this.
