  1. He's still in business. I just purchased some decals and he was quick to respond to an e-mail question of mine.
  2. Really nice work. Love it.
  3. Burnout

    Trantula

Very nice. One of my favorites as a kid too. Nice job with the paint. Are the kit slicks lettered as Firestone Drag 500 or did you do that on your own? They look great.
  4. Phantom super stocker (decals were meant for a Belair) from the Revell '62 Impala kit. This is a great kit. I never felt any need to substitute anything. Just added the rear windows and tach.
  5. Nice work! Looks real.
  6. Burnout

    AWB Nova

Very nice work! I love the old AWB cars.
  7. Really nice work! The model's pretty cool too.
  8. Looks pretty darn good to me.
  9. Very nice, clean build! Nice photo work too. I've got one of these kits at home just waiting for me to get on it. This might be just the inspiration I need.
  10. Burnout

    71 Cuda

Very nice, elegant build. The wheels are a nice touch. Nice photo work too!
  11. Really nice work Osku! I like it. I like your Dart too! Keep 'em coming.
  12. Looking good John but I was wondering about the Dyno Drags rig you've been working on? Did you finish it?
  13. Absolutely beautiful! I'm at a loss for words.
  14. Man, that looks great! Really nice job. Can I ask, are the velocity stacks on the carbs from the kit or from some other source? Thanks, KB
  15. I love it. Nice work!
  16. Thank you Martin. That is pretty much what I thought but just wanted to be sure. I'm not a competitive modeler but because I'm in that part of the country, I'd like to check it out. Hope to make it next year.
  17. I would love to go. It would be my first time but I've got a question for the veterans of the show. In the rules under some of the catagories such as "Competition - Drag, or Competition LSR", it states: Qualifying models may be of any vintage, style, or class, and must be built in accordance with the applicable 1:1 competition rules of a sanctioning organization (NHRA, UDRA, NDRA, etc.) for the vintage of the scale model depicted. My question is: Just how strict are they about these rules of the sanctioning bodies? Do they really know how wide of slicks were allowed in 1962, etc.? I have no delusions of winning anything, I just wouldn't want to eliminate myself before I get there. Thank you, KB
  18. I am a big fan of Slixx decals and am very happy to hear they are not going to go out of business. This is however, the second time they've done this. Several years ago, they said they would be going out of business so I stocked up on a bunch of decals. Then they recanted, and said they would no longer carry NASCAR decals because of the licensing fees but would continue to sell drag decals. So this time around, I stocked up again. Fool me once, oh.. shoot. Nevermind. I really am glad they're not going out of business!
  19. That is absolutely beautiful! Everything about it - detail, paint, engine, and my favorite subject matter too! I'm going to have to check out your WIP posts. Thanks for sharing. KB
  20. Beautiful. I love the LED's!
  21. Beautiful models but I think I like the real car the best. Thanks for sharing.
  22. Thanks for the pics. I too would like to see the models become available. Please go ahead and post your other photos too! Thanks, KB
  23. Very cool! Is that from the Rat Packer kit? I love AWB cars and I second Tommy regarding names vs. sponsors. I miss the "Golden Age of Drag Racing" all together.
