  1. I can't comment on the delays you guys are experiencing but I've used Rick's decals for my last two builds and am very happy with the quality. In many ways, I like them better than Slixx decals.
  2. Very cool to see such high level drags outside of the U.S.! Thanks for sharing.
  3. Probably my favorite thread of all. Some really nice models showing up the last few days! Really hot drag models guys. Thanks for sharing, KB
  4. Really nice work! The engine bay is beautiful. I agree with Dragcarz - the lower classes have become much more interesting to me and your model really fits the bill. Looking forward to your next build. KB
  5. I have purchased several resin bodies and parts from Comp Resins over the last ten years or so and my experiences have been excellent. The product quality is top of the line and turnaround time is very short. The last body I bought earlier this year, came in about a week. I have always dealt directly with C.Resins by telephone rather than through a third party. Highly recommended!
  6. I use 5-minute epoxy. It sets up quickly and is plenty strong enough for mock up purposes but when you're done you just pry the parts apart with an exacto blade. The epoxy does not bond with the plastic and with a little help, will completelly disengage from the plastic leaving it in it's original condition. I also use it for windshields because if I mess up, I can easily and completely remove the epoxy (once it has cured).
  7. I'm not normally a lowrider guy but that is really nice. I like the paint job and the grill work is really nice too.
  8. Flippin' incredible. You have set the bar to unimaginable heights, John. This may be your best yet? Now, I'm going to go look for another hobby to take up.
  9. Hey Bill and Corey - Great job both of you. It was nice seeing your work in the mag which happens to be one of the best issues to date - at least in my eyes. I like Marcos' Mustang too! Great issue!
  10. No, it's a newer issue. It has Marcos Cruz's Mustang and a beautiful Keeling & Clayton FED on the cover.
  11. I received the latest issue of Model Cars Magazine a couple of days ago and it seems this mag just keeps on getting better and better. Great work guys and keep 'em coming! KB
  12. That is really cool Niko! Thank you for the education and photos. Keep 'em coming.
  13. Very nice work Cranky! Seems you moved a little bit out of your normal comfort zone with this one? I like it.
  14. Wow! That paint job alone is worth the price of admission.
  15. Thanks for all the positive comments guys! Roger, the screens are 100 mesh stainless. They don't really accurately represent anything on the real car. I just thought they looked good. John, the decals are by Lucas and the link in gtx's post above will lead you there. For anyone who likes vintage drag racing, they have a great selection of decals. They are extremely thin and fragile but I think the quality is as good as any around. Thanks again, KB
  16. Not meant to be an exact replica but rather simply inspired by Mickey Weise's Hurst Hemi '68 Dart. In 1972 this car ran with a color scheme similar to this before it was painted the more familiar red with white side panels. Thanks for looking, KB
  17. I think you've outdone yourself this time John. Unbelievable!
  18. Looks great! I'd say the paint job is fantastic.
  19. I like it. Really nice in every way. Overall look is killer and the engine bay is beautiful.
  20. Nice looking digger, Niko. Good luck at the model car show.
  21. Looks good Niko. Your paint job turned out really nice.
  22. Burnout

    Acid Bubble

Both are beautiful models! I love the VW paint scheme.
  23. Very nice looking ride... and SHINY too!
  24. Wow. That baby just oozes class. Very inspirational.
  25. I agree but I like the second J.Lilly 'Cuda and Grumpy's Camaro best. Thanks again for sharing.
