  2. G,day , when i started truckin in the 70's i had a part labradore part doberman dog that when you said give us a grin he'd roll up his top lip ,so the other drivers called me "smily dog " which changed later to "dog" .I then changed it later to " wolfman " as i learnt to talk like the wolfman . 5. G,day , i drove one in the mid 70's and it was orange with a black stripe around it. It was powered by 8;71 detroit with 9 speed box and went like the clappers ! But on the old hihgways here the cab kept cracking around the radiater cap door , it also had steel door trims and cardboardy style roof lining which made it hot in summer and cold in winter . We were an overnighter company so every week night we flew between sydney - melbourne , i WAS a young bloke and was in love with it .Cheers mark .

  21. G,day , yer your right dave there was a coe kw with torsion , it was a loooong time ago and the challenger mixer was the only w model that had it . Ive tried to harrasse nigal from auslowe model parts to release the version he had many years ago , but he says it's too badly damaged to try and push out the torsion bar setup . With any luck with all the early truck stuff they are releasing they may drag out the challenger mixer ???????????????? Cheer's mark.
