  1. My bad, sorry Sir, didn't notice you'd mentioned the '40's Ford Pick-Up...
  2. I like both very much, the mint green reminds me of an old MKll Ford Escort I had back in '84...
  3. That looks great, love seeing the crank, may I ask what you are going to be towing it with please...
  4. I don't class those scum-bags as being human...
  5. You never know we may have met or passed each other on the road/sand...
  6. My rule is, treat everyone with respect, no matter who they are and hopefully they'll do the same in return, I'm even nice to the call centre people who keep phoning me trying to sell me things, at the end of the day, they are just doing a job and trying to earn an honest wage...
  7. A few years ago I built some Nitro one's up from just parts I bought on flea-bay, the new built ones where too expensive so bought parts when I had some money spare.. I now have about 5 Traxxas Revo's and a dragster which I've never used and they just sit in my loft now, but they where interesting to build, wish I'd of re-started models instead...
  8. Hi Robert, Thank you for the info Sir, very much appriciated, trailer wise I have a couple of tanker trailers that I can try to modify... I remember that this had power steering and an auto gearbox, so driving this was like driving a Rolls Royce compared to what we had... Many thanks everyone for the help... Andy...
  9. Hi all, Hope this is the right section, may I ask if anyone knows if there is a GMC kit of this semi please... I have no idea what the model is sorry, I just loved driving her... Many thanks... Andy...
  10. I think that this hobby is similar to driving, it is something we can all learn, but will never be masters as there is always something new to learn...
  11. Why not build a scrap yard (junk yard for the American Colonials ) diorama with it in or even an accident scene etc... If it was me I'd still be blubbering...
  12. That look's sweet, the colour look's great...
  13. I couldn't agree more, I know I've only just gotten back into the hobby and have only built one with an engine so far, but I have seen some with the floating problem and it just doesn't look right...
  14. They look great, my favourite is the Yellow and Black one, love the colour combo...
  15. You lot over the pond don't know how well you have it, I have a few friends over there who also complain now and then about how much fuel is costing you, here's one for you, here in the UK a US gallon of fuel would cost you $10, which keeps going up each and everyday, plus, everything over here is also more expensive in general, so PLEASE, just realise just how well you have it... Sorry for the rant...
  16. You you add another one please, "I try my best, to just get it looking like the model I'm building"...
  17. Hi Junkman, Don't know if this would be of any use, but I made some tracks out of some anti-slip mat for my Shado2 vehicles... Just a thought... Andy...
  18. That's no collection, that's just a hoarding...
  19. Hi Jesse, Welcome to the forum... Use the large type of plaster (band-aid I think they are know over the channel), paint it and then cut to shap... I got this tip from this forum, if you try the search thingy I'm sure the thread will show how to do it better as it was also the first time I have ever tried this method also... Hope this helps... Andy...
  20. Is it just me or does just looking at this one hurt or confuse anybody else's eyes...
  21. Mine isn't anything special, John is my first name, the A is my middle initial ans the G is my surname initial, the 4004 is the last four numbers of my old military service number...
  22. Wonderful work yet again Dr Cranky Sir, may I ask, which is your's and which is Mr Eyegore's and who would win... P.S...How is Mr Eyegore feeling now...
  23. John this is simply stunning... I hate drooling during the colder months, it leads to certain problems...
  24. When I left schoolin '82 I went to work in a body shop, we had a Silver Shadow come in for some body work to be done, and before we could even touch it someone from Rolls had to come out and view each and every bit of work we did, no bondo was to be used it had to be all lead filled, plus, to move it to and from the owners home it was trailered, it had to be under a cover, very anal...
  25. Not to put a dampner on this, but do you know that you have to have written permission from Rolls Royce before you do any work on one of their vehicles no matter it's age, they also have to be inspected before, during & after any work is completed... Looking great though, yet another build for me to follow...
