  1. Joesph you said you were going to close the hood on the 85 because of the turbo set up. Doesn't the 80 turbo Trans Am have a similar set up as the 85? Both are hot air turbo's John
  2. Nice job on this vette. Love the attention to detail Looks fantastic
  3. I know this subject has been brought up before, but has anyone heard about Revell releasing the 80's Olds Cutlass? I have been hoping to get a few. John
  4. Casey, that's the exact model I was talking about
  5. This model was a enclosed body. It had a non opening hood on the front area. It also had oval windows on the rear doors. I believe the box art showed white outline pin striping around the body. Don't remember the wheels but I know it had bigs n littles
  6. There was a C cab hot rod model, that had an early Corvair engine. It also had the upper cross member, springs and lower control arms. It also had the swing arm axles as well. I had one many many years ago. I know it was molded in red and was 1:25 scale. I would love it if they actually made a separate front suspension for the late models. The front cover assembly on the rear of the engine, is to say the least completely wrong as well . The oil filter never sat next to the crank pulley but instead in front of the pulley. The oil cooler sat higher under the alternator. The engine is also missing the sides, front and rear shrouding. I have a 1965 Corsa kit, nobody mentioned it came with 13" Cragar S/S mag wheels. The Anson Sprint slots came in the later kits.
  7. Hi I have a few questions regarding the 70 Barracuda. Could the interior come with a bench seat and column shift? What about the steering wheel? Would it be a standard Plymouth wheel or the sport one?
  8. Great job Bill! I have a question regarding the hood. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't 67 Mustang hoods suppose to have to 2 side by side indention's like a Charger?
  9. Are you going to make a Grand Prix dash or stick with the Monte? Looks good keep up the good work
  10. Hi, I am looking for a resin 60 Impala convertible body. Anybody know where I can find one? Thanks, John
  11. Guy's let me tell you what. I just received the Plymouth wheel covers from Kevin. They were simply amazing.
  12. Mike, I'd like a link to your site as well. They look excellent. Definitely what I am looking for. Thanks, John
  13. Ray, what size big n little tires and rims did you use? I suspect they are Pegasus. How wide are they? Thanks, John
  14. Hi guys, I stumbled upon this thread. I am building a 60 Impala convertible. The interior is red of course. The center of the tunnel is salt and pepper red and black. The other parts of the floor are rubber mats. How do I approach this? What shade should this be? My father n law said his Impala, this one I'm building, had many various shades of red. What should the area behind the rear seat where the convertible top stows be? Thanks for the help, John
  15. Yea that's the one I was thinking of. The sport wheel cover. I'm turning the new hemi cuda into a more pedestrian Barracuda. Now the question is where can I find these? Anybody making them? I just sent your photo to Kevin at Missing Link, maybe he can help? Thanks, John
  16. Does anyone know of a resin caster that is making full wheel covers for a 1970 Plymouth? Thanks, John
  17. Thanks, I waiting to see if anybody could help. Thanks again, John
  18. Where can I get stock center bolt chevy bolt covers?
  19. I have followed this thread as I have wanted to build a replica of my car. I bought the Southern Motorsports Nascar Monte Carlo front end. Yes you can use on the 1/24 Monte Carlo SS body. You would use the headlight buckets from the SS kit. They are a perfect fit as are the turn signal lights. I also picked up a 80 Monte Carlo kit on E-bay for $5.00. The grill does need some modification but is not bad and can be done. The 80 kit also provides the wheel covers, as well as the correct non SS steering wheel. I will build this in time and post it in workshop area.
  20. Mike you have done an incrediable amount of work to make this fox stand out. Are they ready to sell? John
  21. I put this topic in questions and answers. I got no response so I'm going to ask here. Maybe my question was in the wrong place. Does any resin manufacture make a conversion to change a 69 GTX to a 68? Thanks, John
  22. Thanks for the info. I did realize the Mustang front suspension was a popular conversion, but did not know which street rod kit would have it. Thanks again for the tip. John
  23. Who makes the conversion pieces to back date a 69 GTX to a 68? I basically need the grill and tail lights. Thanks, John
  24. I would like to more accuratley depict the front suspension on the Mustang II. Any ides on where to start or what model would be a good start? Thanks, John
  25. Will Revell's 70 Baldwin Motion Chevele stripe work? I've looked at the engine and it is the most correct for these cars. Thanks, John
