Sorry I should of been clear. My 69 Firebird kit also has the OHC 6. To build the 6cyl version I need the stock hood.{the flat one}. It seems that a stock hood does not exist. I did research the usual suspects and found nothing.The message boards turned up nothing. If you just let me know if the kit has the stock hood I would really appreciate it. Thanks Mike

Why do people post out of focus pictures? It takes a lot of skill and time to build a model car that you are proud of. Then the pictures that you post are junk. I don't get it. I preview all my pictures weather they are posted in Fotki,forums,or E mailed. Mike

I used a tooth pick to start with.Once I got some color in the wheels I used a small paint brush to finish it up. I used Gold acrylic paint so that I could wipe off any mistakes with just a wet finger and not ruin the chrome

Yes it is the Revell kit. I would recommend it. I know what you mean about box art. Sometimes the box art is so goofy looking it is hard to get past it. Thanks for the comment.
