  7. I just make sure that the epoxy is level and use a toothpick or a piece of flat styrene to make sure that the epoxy is smooth. Sort of like a skin coat
  8. I use JB Weld Epoxy. I mix, then fill the mirror, and make sure that the epoxy is level. I let cure for 24 hours then paint the face with Molotov Chrome. Good luck Mike
  9. I had some leftover Slixx Ed Schartman so I used them on this Comet. The paint is Testors Modern Sand. A BIG shoutout to iBorg for the decals. Mike
  10. I was on Esty looking for some stamps that I need for my collection. This guy was asking $30,000 for an old but not rare stamp. I E-mailed him and told him I have one and I am only asking $10,000. No reply. Mike

  14. I should have asked: Are they still in business? That Olds is the only car available. To me it seems that they are selling off most of their unsold inventory.
  15. I bought some of his A/FX Dodges. I am building my last one now. I was gonna order some GM A/FX the other day but a no go. I really liked his stuff. Mike
  16. I threw a lot of parts box stuff at this car. Catalina custom seats,1959 Cadillac dash, steering wheel, spotlights, mirrors, gas cap, scratch taillights, Camaro wheels and tires, 1959 Imperial side scoops and exhaust pipes. Grille, headlights, body, roofs, and windshield frame are the only kit parts. The engine is the chrome one from the 1957 T-Bird. Base paint is White Lighting and acrylics for the fades. This build took me about 9 months on and off. Thanks for looking! Mike
  17. I checked my mixer it has 1 AA battery. You are right if these things were spontaneously catching on fire, it would have been all over the place
  18. Did you crack it open to see what kind of batteries? I would not want this to happen to me and burn my house down. I will check out mine latter today to see what type of batteries are in it Mike

  21. I have the Micro Mark one for a long time no problems. Could the mixer have Lithium batteries?
