  1. Beautiful!! Great pics also - I love the reflection off the gloss black floor!
  2. Hi, I'm getting ready to do a 69 GTO Judge. The color i'm looking for is cameo white. Thats the white color GM used and - that seems to be the color of the GTO on the box, and i like to stay close to the box. I would like to use enamel paint and testors only has a white enamel. the cameo is a bit off white. could i expect to match this perfect or should i just use the white testors paint and be happy it's close enough. what would you guys do? thx, john
  3. I was definitely going to order the Donn's painting DVD, but now I see he has 2 dvds available - one for painting and one for tips and tricks. should i get both?? would be interested in hearing from people who own these. Thanks for a great forum! John

  8. thanks all - i finally broke down and got a photobucket account. its actually pretty easy, but i do wish the uploader on here worked properly. Check my uploaded pics at under glass - its the 1971 duster - let me know what you think, be honest. John
  9. 2nd build - better than my first! pls feel free to critique. it started to drizzle out - i think the rain drops look kind of cool.
  10. Casey - 3.6MB. I even updated my flash player and uploaded the pics to my hard drive. At first I was trying to upload from a card reader. Still the same problem. The pic looks like it loads, the load bar fills up, but the arrows just keep spinning and it just sits there. I never get prompted for the next step.
  11. I never get that far - i tried the basic uploader and the advanced up loader - the arrow circle just keeps spinning - i.e i never get the add to post message.
  12. I tried with the "attach files" feature at the bottom, picked my pic off the computer, but it never uploaded. am i missing something?? thx, john
  13. My second Build. A bit sloppy, but i feel i'm getting better. Enjoy the pics and feel free to critique.
  14. Mark, Simply beautiful! - i have to look close to tell the difference between it and and the real thing. My daughter and I were laughing it looks so real - you should be proud - great job on the vette!
  15. any ideas - heading over to target, figured i would pick up some mcguires liquiod wax or??? any suggestions/ thx, john
  16. Sweet - i love box stock!!
  17. looking for a good solid glue that drys perfecty clear and will not mess up the clear plasitic windows - anybody?? so far i've treid elmers glue, but it seems too weak when it dries. i've tried hot glue, but not enough work time. i've tried future clear - again its weak. right now i'm using testors blue tube glue, but i think it messes up the windows - still waiting for it to dry so i can see. thx, john
  18. I tried some Future after reading another article - the lenses actually fit pretty sung, unlike the Fairlane i recently finished. They look decent, now we'll see if they hold -
  19. Hi, was wondering how you guys attach the front head beam lenses to the chrome grill. on my first build, 66 fairlane, i used the testors cement, but it didn't hold well and actually melted the lenses. almost done with this 73 duster - i'll be posting pics to "under glass" soon enough. Thx, john
  20. whats the best adhesive to use so i can get a decal to stick again. It's a license plate decal, so fortunately it's a small one. apparently I left it in the water too long and now it won't stick. Thx, John
