  1. Bill do you know about how big those salt flat racers are? They might be the perfect size for a 1/24 scale go cart shell.
  2. I like the rockstar logo on the door, whered you get it?
  3. Looks like you had to go beyond the thunderdome for those.
  4. Very Nice job. I built the 4Runner a few years back in almost that same yellow. I really need to redo it.
  5. Thanks for the help guys. I looked into these a few minutes ago and I think the Borrani would fit my Aston well. Do I have to use any special type of tires with Herb's kits?
  6. Sam, that's not very punny.
  7. Ok, I need to get some lighters and make a bobber.
  8. Look at the sleek styling of the GT-R and please reconsider your thought please.
  9. I would love to have one, but 30 smackers for the go cart is a lot. Doesn't someone vacumeform the Bonneville shell?
  10. A VW Bus with a minigun on it reminds me of the VW bus from back to the future with the Libyans in it.
  11. What would be a somewhat of a correct car for Bonneville that I could put on the revell Kurtis midget racer trailer?? I really don't want to do something to big, something around the size of the midget racer.
  12. I remember seeing a set somewheres online for a specific car but they would have worked for what I needed them for. I am putting wire wheels on my Aston Martin DB5 I am fiddling with. Don't remember who made them but it was a multi step process to form the rims.
  13. I loved the "I'm just not used to that much power"
  14. I have judged at several shows and the three things that we look for to consider a model for an award are: basic modeling skills, decent paint, and overall realism. For example I was judging at a show last weekend and this guy had a decent nova but didn't glue the wheels on, needless to say he didn't place. But of those three what it all boils down to is the finish of the model, if you have a glass finish and the other two things you will be noticed by a judge.

    68 AMX

    I love those old AMC's.
  16. Lindberg Model T custom pick up, Nuff said.
  17. The joke was it looks so realistic I was asking why hold the hood of such an expensive car up with PVC pipe.Sorry if you didn't get it.
  18. I talked to you at the show as you were packing up. I really enjoyed talking with you about how you built your oil rig and Duel truck, hopefully I can see you at some more shows soon. Also which show are you going to next?

    '64 Impala

Very cool, I need to post a few pictures of my 64' Impala on here sometime. It's not nearly as nice as yours though.
  20. Very nice Ferrari there, although you might want to use something other than a tube of PVC to prop open the hood.
  21. I enjoyed the fake names out of the Model King Austin Gasser kit. I think It would be cool to have decals with a gold leafing effect or an acid drop effect. Also some of the retro-ish bubble letters look good as a font.
  22. I was thinking about the same article when I pulled up this thread.
  23. I just about fell out of my chair with that one.
  24. Kinda sounds like you guys have something strongly against video games. I have a PS3 and a Wii and play them fairly often. I also build model car kits. Does this mean I have ripped a hole in the space time continuum?
  25. The owner of the Murfreesboro HobbyTown USA ,Micheal Myers (Not from Halloween), Is a super friendly guy. I go in there and talk with him a few times a month on just about anything.
