  1. Flawless design and execution!
  2. That is stunning!!!!!
  3. I just finished up this re-build of an old MPC 1976 Ventura I had in my stash. It's my take on a modern street machine done with some '60's muscle car style. You can read all the build details and there are more pics on my site. Here's a link to my website.
  4. These are some concepts for a new paint scheme I designed for the 2011 Office Depot Dallara which runs in the Rolex Series. I haven't seen the car yet, so it will be interesting to see how close the actual car looks to my design. It will make it's debut on Speed TV this Sat. at the Daytona 24 hour race.
  5. The Wacom monitor is just a piece of hardware. You'll still need a software program like Photoshop or Coral Painter to use it. I use photoshop.
  6. Just a note to the rivot counters out there (LOL)... I have to fess up that I goofed a little on the foiling of the side trim. The chrome actually starts on the second line down from the top. So the trim should actually appear a little narrower than they way I foiled it. My bad. Thanks Dick
  7. I know the team is working as fast as they can, but they are also taking the time they need to get it as right as possible so please be patient.
  8. That's high praise from an artist such as your caliber. Thank you.
  9. Just finished my build up of the Moebius '53 Hudson Hornet. I want to emphasize my model was built from the 1st round test shot and the tooling is still in the development stages. After reviewing the test shot it was decided to alter the tooling to make it even more accurate. So, the final kit should build up even better.
  10. Here's a link to the monitor I use. My link
  11. Yes, I have a Wacom monitor. It lays down flat and I can draw right on the computer screen. The tablets work nice too if you are on a budget.
  12. Here's a new rendering and livery I created for a new racing team running a BMW 128i in the 2011 SCCA Continental Tire Street Tire Challenge Series. Watch for it on Speed TV. Oh yea, the rendering was drawn by hand in Photoshop CS3 using a Wacom monitor.
  13. Wow, I hadn't looked at this thread in a week or so. It really went off the rails. At any rate... the pics I posted were of a kit still in the development stages, not a finished product. Dave Metzner tells me changes are already being made. Moebius knows that this is their first real car kit and they are going to great lengths to get it the best they can.
  14. The photos aren't the greatest. I didn't spend anytime to light them properly. I just sat the kit down and snapped some pictures. Also it should be noted, that I didn't actually glue the bumpers and grill on for the photos and because of a loose fit they were sitting just a little crooked. I'm not an authority on Hudsons, but I've spent a fair amount of time studying photos and comparing them to the test shot. In person I think the body looks pretty spot on.
  15. I did those sketches a few months back. It's for a future project I'm working on. Need to get these box art builds off my bench first.
  16. Just got a test shot of the new Hudson kit today. Here's the pics. The kit looks really nice. The tooling still needs some final engraving and adjusting, but it is very close to being ready. There are more pics at the link.More pics.
  17. Thank you for the kind words. No, this isn't a box art model. I am working on an upcoming AMC box art project right now, but I can't reveal that one just quite yet.
  18. Just finished this restoration of an old original built up Johan 1970 AMX. All the build details and more pics are on my site. Here's the Link.
  19. Box art is underway now. The one I'm working on will be a Model King release of a re-issued tool secured by IMC. The official announcement will be in a few weeks.
  20. Actually, I originally left the windows out because I intended to clear coat the body after I decaled it. Later I decided it looked OK with the clear coat.
  21. Very cool. Neat paint job.
  22. Wild!!
  23. Here's my completed Austin Gasser box art model with the production decals added. There are more pics on my site at the link. my website
  24. Respect the van!
  25. I'm working on the box art for '53 Hudson Hornet now. The box will feature an illustration I created inspired by the advertising art of the 1950's. The box layout may have photos of a built model on there too. We'll have to wait and see how the production schedule lines up. Once the art is approved and I have an OK, I will post some pics. Frank tells me they have are using photos of a real car for the box art on the Chrysler kit.
