Just thought I would see if anyone might know anythign about any of the parts...They are all different scale and all different models. Is a little bit of everythign here lol...here is a link to photobucket album with all parts. I have been digging through and organizing them the best I can since 7 yesterday evening (is now 7am). I know what a few things are, and have been looking some up inline, but still alot I have no clue as to what they are for....Thanks http://s903.photobucket.com/albums/ac235/buysaletrade87/misc%20parts/

Well...after alot of words being said and alot of leaving the house to get away from this build I have got the engine and trans mounted and ready to start the interior. I ended up having to use the kit engine, and just swap soem things over from the other engine. I tried for hours to get the parts pack engine to fit right, with no luck. It still looks like what I wanted and will look good once complete....Here are a few pics, so let me knwo what you think... the engine is a dark blue but with the flash it lightens it quite a bit...will try and get better pics once I am finished. -
very cool...and great job on the shattered fiberglass effect...there is always a vette sitting someplace awaiting restoration.

Ok guys I finally got the interior parts painted along with the convert top. and snapped a few pics...some of you are probably thinking all black will be too much. but with all the little chrome pieces on the interior and some parts will be painted aluminum like it says in the instructions... also black washed the front and rear bumper grilles and the cowl area of the windshield frame... got half the engine together and painted one coat...will get a second coat on in a little bit and try and finish the engine this evening and will be back with more pics...thanks for looking -

thanks for the comment....I cant wait to get this thing all shiny and ready to be the first build of 2012...here is a pic of the engine i am using..hopped up street version, but swapping out the 4 carb setup for the 6 carb setup. Plan on going with the stock dark blue engine with chrome accents. I soaked the pieces to be painted in purple power (took 5 minutes and chrome plating was gone) and will leave the rest chrome..accidentlay dropped the oilpan in the purple power and dont feel like robbing another engine kit (I got 4 kits lol) so will probably be painted aluminum...will update asap...thank again for checking it out -

Well finished up the 32 ford...now back to this while waiting on parts for 49 merc.... I got the chassis together and sat the body on for a mock up..let me knwo what ya think...went a little different way than I had previously planned...going to be using a 354 cadi engine (race version) and the 20" chrome wheels. Plan on keeping it simple an clean...more to come, as soon as engine gets in. thanks -
Took a few shots outside earlier...seem to be a little better...

Purchased this parts lot off ebay last week...mainly for the 1/8 chevy engine...some good parts to kit bash with for sure. The partial land speed car is dated 89..but haven't looked to see exactly what it is yet. Also in the mix was a blown Boss 429 engine...and some decent rear drag/gasser wheels.

Got the rolling chassis assembled just now....the hardest part of the build would have to be all the suspension up from, had to put it all together at the same time whle holding it all in place long enough for the glue to set. Hoping to get paint for the interior soon, will keep you updated...thanks again...

Looks like a fun build...will be watching for sure...

ok picked up some clear and got the body and pieces cleared. Just finished drying so snapped a few pics...the green look a little brighter than it actually is because of the flash...Once the build is complete I will get better pics of it outside. Here are a few pics of ll the pieces I have assembled...Hoping to have it finished by the weekend (if tan paint for the seat gets here on time) thanks again for checking this build out...as always comments or suggestions are appreciated.... I used Krylon Crystal Clear Gloss and it looks great...this is my first build using clear coat...thanks again also going to be mixing my own black wash up to use on wheels, so they don't have the chrome plated plastic look....will get pics of that too...

Got the headers finished...not perfect, but best I could do..had to change them up from my first design...the strap of styrene would hold them together like I had planned. let me know what you think....will probably be all I do until I get some clear. I will probably get to wally world tomorrow or may hit up ACE...thanks

got the rear axle with wheels/tires mocked up. the driver side with fender on and passenger side with out it...let me know what you think. I am leaning farther toward putting the fenders on... will be getting pics of the engine with headers once the other side dries...thanks
