  1. Well I finally got it done. I still have a few issues that need to be addressed but I think that I got it pretty close to where I wanted it. http://IMG_20150214_141232662 by krhdreammachines, on Flickr http://IMG_20150214_141202066 by krhdreammachines, on Flickr http://IMG_20150214_140832072 by krhdreammachines, on Flickr http://IMG_20150214_140852510 by krhdreammachines, on Flickr http://IMG_20150214_141009740 by krhdreammachines, on Flickr http://https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7386/15929130514_a70da3cd36_s.jpgIMG_20150214_140935227 by krhdreammachines, on Flickr http://https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7451/15931509893_c12b777f7b_s.jpgIMG_20150214_140920166 by krhdreammachines, on Flickr http://https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7421/16525676316_af82de85b7_s.jpgIMG_20150214_141021305 by krhdreammachines, on Flickr
  2. Didn't grab a pic, but I was gassing up when I heard this rumbling pulling to the pump behind me, I look and it's a bright red 69/70 Nova SS, mind you I'm in Michigan, but when he got out he was wearing a carheart so I'm guessing he was working on it and wanted to make sure everything was up to snuff.
  3. I'm going to totally hijack this thread, but in the first pic what kind of audio equipment is the car sitting on?
  4. Did some "dry fitting" last night and it looks like I need to do some hogging on the headlight opening, I think the headlights, and their openings are the same size. I also need some help, if you look to the passenger side "A" pillar you can see the where the door portion of the pillar is jetting out, is there an effective way to straighten that out? 5. That's what I want to get, a roll top, wish I didn't pass on that
  6. Remember he had it in the shop getting a hippy gas pedal put in.
  7. MOOOOOOM some one let John out of the basement again!!!!!
  8. I've been on the search for a new work space, the dresser that I'm using now is killing my back because I can't slide underneath it to use the work space. I went to the Salvation Army and saw a decent roll top desk which would have been perfect for $10 and didn't get it for some strange reason. What do you, or have you used for your creations?
  9. Yeah it's a spyder now Making it a spyder by krhdreammachines, on Flickr
  10. No motor in this one, it's staying on the shelf. I just thought blue would look good on this, then I saw a picture of that spyder, and thought that looked pretty cool too.
  11. Just stumbled on this pic of Rod Stewart's LP400 Spyder....me thinks this project may a change in direction. What say you? http://www.autodrome.fr/lamborghini_countach_LP400_spider_mardikian.htm#english
  12. So I figured since I've been asking for help with this car I might as well share some progress on this build. I bought the Fujimi 1/16 scale Lambo Countach LP500S with some great expectations, lets just say it's been kind of an up hill battle, a labor of love. A lot of cleaning and sanding parts to get them to fit together, a lot of flash, assemblies not wanting to fit together, a lot of gaps especially in the body, you know how it goes. I found a replacement color to the Boyd's True Blue Pearl, Model Master Blue Pearl, which turned out real nice. I decided not to motorize it because of the sacrifice in detail, but with some help from the guy at the hobby store I want to at least do the lighting on it. 13. I've been doing the opposite, I've been looking for them on vinyl. So far I've got around 150+ records of hard rock, heavy metal, and classical.
  14. Thanks for all the suggestions, the guy at the hobby store gave me a good suggestion to the closest pain that they had. It's a little darker but I think it will work. The Cord was painted in the Boyd True Blue Pearl, and the Lambo is painted with the Model Masters Blue Pearl IMG_20150130_071158549 by krhdreammachines, on Flickr
  15. I picked up a 1/16 scale fujimi countach and come to find out it came be motorized and wired for the lights. Since I don't do Japanese to good I'm not sure which motor or light bulbs I need.
  16. Ok so where's the pics of the model car?
  17. Lies, all lies...I clicked on the button to buy the paint and they said "out of stock", guess they never updated their site.
  18. I started spraying my Lambo last night in Colors By Boyd "True Blue Pearl" and now I'm out with half a car painted. I've been searching the interwebs and have been getting mixed answers. I've seen some places that say they have it, some places that are out of stock, and some places that say it's been discontinued. Does anyone know for sure if they still make this color?
  19. I would love a large scale first gen Dodge Viper GTS/RT10 http://www.subito.net/xx96/cars/images/Dodge_Viper_GTS_02.jpg
  20. Love the sleeper look
  21. I'm beginning to notice a theme
  22. I roughed in some more of the roll cage IMG_20150120_204420294 by krhdreammachines, on Flickr IMG_20150120_203541070 by krhdreammachines, on Flickr IMG_20150120_203550812 by krhdreammachines, on Flickr IMG_20150120_203853642 by krhdreammachines, on Flickr Had to do some modding to the shock mounts in the front of the car
  23. A super....with a carburetor....you mean a to say your "tuner" doesn't have 8 turbo chargers, and ten bottles of NOZ in it. It's different I like it
