  2. just water... and you can use some Dullcote or Krylon Matte, but, like i said, i keep them in cases and am carefull how i pick it up... Spyder.. it's not like it rubs off easyily, but, it will if ya keep messin with it...
  3. how about a big honkin 6 cyl, crossflow head, Webers or injection.... just to be different!!
  4. once a squid, always a squid!!!! on 2 or 4 wheels....
  5. ...but, it even had the factory 'peel on the fascia!!! ok, monday i'm saying MODEL......lol
  6. a long time ago i had some wire from somewhere and the casing was really soft/pliable, stripped it all down and it's the perfect size, both inner and outer diameters, for plug boots and the plug wire easily fits/slides into the boot..i just paint to choice or leave them black...
  7. i keep them in cases, so, i just leave it and pick it up by the cage or the wheels... AND if ya ever want to change it, it just a bath away from fresh canvas!! thanks for lookin guys!!
  8. i really diggin this build!! that chassis is way cool... how much 'kick' is in the rear?? i like how you did the front 'kick', briliant!!
  9. fixt for ya Harry!!! lolo i was 11 in 1961 AND built my 1st model that year...
  10. photobucket will do the same thing!!! use the 'bulk uploader', at the bottom of the window there'll be 'max image' size, then 'more options', click the more options, i choose the 640X480, and ALL the pics loaded will be that size....
  11. it's been my experience that if you have ca glue plastic to plastic[as opposed to after primer] it will live thru brake fluid, BUT, the bondo, not so much...
  12. mailman's not done with yours yet!!! lol
  13. good choice... make a copy of the decals so you can cut them up to see where the 2tone lines need to be...
  14. forgot the respirator again, huh?? lol that is really kewl!! instead of blocks, maybe some small bags of cement/sand?? the muffler [coat]hanger is priceless!!
  15. apply the decals normally, after there're dry, THEN brush/spray the Future to act as a sealer for the decals...
  16. wowowowow.. John you just keep churning out these pieces of art... and with a driver this time!! outstanding!!!
  17. got mine today also, been thru it quick already... .... and the Other one came to...
  18. i'm going real.... genuine 'factory' orange peel on the rear fascia...
  19. i do the body first, then, depending how the body comes out, so goes the build... brake fluid is my friend....
  20. i'll gladly give my addy for some of your 'overflowing' swag collection!! lolol seriously, what happens to all the 'new release' stuff that is sent to ya?? you can't possibly use/build/paint all that stuff?? lol
  21. it actually WAS a good race!! the best part?? they used BONDO to fix the track the 2nd time!!
  22. i like ALL the colors...the white [T234?] does take a long time to dry, but, the grey, black and red, depending how heavy, are dry in 15 mins!! sand it in 30... i also like the coverage, you don't need a lot for good, 1 shot coverage, yet, still provide a 'barrier' for the plastic...i like to use #2000 paper, wet, before any color coats.. and, when wet, it may look grainy, but, when dry, smooth as a baby's buuuuut...
  23. cool, my BLACK 32 T is getting long in the tooth...
  24. i did my Blueprinter Sunbeam as a racing Tiger... bodywork and all...
  25. that be a 1:1 Superbird...real...
