The lunatic is in my head...
The lunatics are in my head...
You raise the blade, you make the change,
You re-arrange me 'til I'm sane.
You lock the door and throw away the key...
There's someone in my head but it's not me.
Not a problem for me... but a little confusing for the guys who are involved in the build-off, no? Hey, as long as you guys who are involved in this thing can keep it straight, fine by me...
I wonder how many people have ever heard of Tatra cars. It's a pretty obscure make (at least here in the "west"). But they made some very unique looking cars back in the 30s. In fact, the Chrysler AIrflow also looks suspiciously like a Tatra...
You all know the car in the lower right. But how many of you knew that the original Beetle's design wasn't very original at all? The three other cars all pre-date the Beetle In fact, the manufacturer of one of the other three cars even sued VW for trademark infringement because the Beetle looked a little TOO much like their car.
Can you name the other three cars?
Have you seen this?
Yours is the same idea, just a different front end. Maybe you should be a full-time customizer... you're thinking the same way as the big guys!
The easiest way is to use CF decals. They're available from several aftermarket sources, including Studio 27 and Scale Motorsports.

That's one clean build. Maybe you weren't into all the "bells and whistles" yet back then, but you obviously had the basics down cold. A little heavy-handed with the panel lines on the body and dash, but otherwise a very impressive job. I wish I could lay down a finish that well!
