  1. Would look even better with a white roof to match the white grille/headlight bezels.
  2. Speaking of... Why is there a tip jar on the counter at my local Chinese take-out place? If I place an order, then show up and pick up my order myself, why would I tip anyone?
  3. Wow! Amazing! The detail is fantastic. Absolutely beautiful model. (and really nice photos too!)
  4. Tim, check your in box... I sent you a PM.
  5. Remember... don't post any hints or answers here. PM me with year, make, and model. The answer: 1937-38 Mack Jr.
  6. He's been in the band from day one. When was there ever an Aerosmith with no Steven Tyler?
  7. In this case, it sure did. So... what are the plans here? Will you eventually be marketing this? Or is this a one-off exercise?
  8. Pretty slick. The only problem I see is that the only thing you could possibly see out of the rear windows is the sky. They would have to be much lower (much closer to the rear of the car) to actually function as rear windows.
  9. Is this a custom? It doesn't look like any Graham-Paige I've seen.
  10. ...or a TV news anchor... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXHssUEUyfY
  11. Did you forget the distributor? Nice pix, BTW.
  12. I've tried playing that video on youtube and on several other websites where it's posted. All are silent.
  13. Mac. I get sound with any other Youtube video, just not that one.
  14. Clint Eastwood is my favorite living director. I'm sure he'll go a great job.
  15. The ironic thing is, as technology advances, people's mental skills decline. People used to find their destination by navigating. Then they invented paper maps, so now we had a printed guide that we could use to help find our way. Then they invented GPS, and now a computer does all the "thinking" for us and tells us what to do. So now we tend to rely on a machine to do our thinking for us, and many people probably couldn't find their way to the next town without GPS to tell them where to go. People used to do arithmetic. We used to know how to multiply and divide, using only a pencil and paper. Then calculators came along, and I would be willing to bet that today, a huge chunk of the population could not divide 956 by 14 without using a calculator to do it for them. People used to read. Now we have audio books that "read" to us. For every technological step forward, the teeming masses take an intellectual step backward.
  16. The scary thing is... there are millions like her out there...
  17. I tried several different uploads of this video on Chrome. The commercial (before the video) sound is fine, the video itself–silent. Weird.
  18. Sorry, you're all wrong. The correct answer is September.
  19. How do we know this is an original and not a reprint? How can the pages of a 75-year old comic book, printed on cheap paper, not have turned yellow?
  20. If train A leaves the station at 10AM traveling west at 60 mph and train B leaves the same station traveling east at 50 mph, what color is farmer Jones' tractor?
  21. That grille really needs a black wash.
  22. The annual Chicago air and water show is this weekend. They're expecting 1.5 million spectators to jam the lakefront.
  23. Almost forgot... I also saw a metalflake purple "40ish" Ford coupe with Centerline wheels parked in a driveway with a "For Sale" sign on it as I was driving past. Again, didn't get a particularly good look, as I was driving down the road at a pretty good clip, but something looked "off." I'm thinking it may have been a VW Beetle-based kit car.
  24. I saw two bright yellow cars today... the first I think was a Lambo... not sure, it whizzed by so fast going the other way that I can't be sure. Then later a bright yellow Prowler. Hard to miss that one going down the street!
