  1. Basically looks pretty good, but you really need to go back in and clean up that black trim around the windows. BTW... welcome to the forum!
  2. Exactly. Maybe you can learn from this....
  3. Can't argue with that!
  4. Beautiful! And my very fave generation of Camaro.
  5. You're lucky I'm in a good mood... I'll let you slide on the rear tires extending past the fenders...
  6. That lame excuse reminds me of this...
  7. Sharp and clean. I like it.
  8. Exactly. There's not a whole lot of the original car left, if anything.
  9. One is bad enough... two would be a real drag!
  10. Constantly fixing up an old car might cost less than buying a brand new car every few years... but why would you buy a new car every few years? Today's cars, with reasonable care and regular maintenance, will last a long time, will be way more reliable, will be way safer, and won't rust out several times over like that old Ford does.
  11. Do the engines in cars down there rotate the opposite way than ours do?
  12. Very cool. The chassis looks really good.
  13. I like those Weathertech liners. Gotta get me a pair.
  14. Nice work... but that's one ugly car!
  15. That's pretty cool. Of course, you understand I'll have to write you up for lack of mirrors...
  16. Looks good, but there's a reason Ford never built it that way. The Cougar was supposed to be more "upscale" than Mustang (since it was sold as a Mercury and not a Ford), therefore the more "formal" roofline on the Cougar.
  17. I don't remember the details, but I read recently that one of the towns that had been hit by tornados had just rebuilt the local school, when another tornado came along and destroyed the new school! You have to wonder why nature works the way it does sometimes....
  18. Well, it can't possibly get any closer... final vote 20 REAL, 20 MODEL. And it's a MODEL! Scratchbuilt! http://www.modelergp.com/2013/No01/No01.html
  19. The engine has had a ton of work and repairs done to it over the years, same with the trans. It can hardly be desribed as "original." Same with the rest of the car... over the years most of the car has been replaced, piece by piece, to the point where there isn't very much "original" left on this car at all. Almost all the body panels have been replaced due to rust... some two and even three times. Even the frame isn't original, it had to be replaced. It looks like the whole car has been remanufactured several times over! Any car can be kept running pretty much forever if you keep on repairing and replacing everything.
  20. With the steering wheel at that angle, Ralph Kramden would feel right at home!
  21. You might be right...
  22. Yikes! I can't complain. Since our late-season snow a few days ago, it's been nothing but sunshine and 70s-80s. Picture perfect. Of course, the fact that I live in northern Illinois means that can change at any moment...
  23. If you start hearing my voice in your head, I suggest you see a doctor ASAP!
  24. A dyslexic guy walks into a bra... Don't forget to tip your waitresses, folks... I'll be here all week. Goodnight!
  25. Cast resin?
