  1. Source?
  2. Another thing a lot of people overlook when they "weather" the chassis... they will meticulously "rust" the exhaust system, etc., but each individual component is separately weathered without an overall look of weathering. On any real car, over time, the whole chassis... everything... acquires an overall coat of grayness. For example, you don't see rusted exhaust pipes and a pristine black chassis together... everything gets an overall grayish coating of "patina" over time.
  3. Authentic '60s-70s "Plum Crazy" paint has been updated to "Prune Crazy." Does your family own Chrysler stock?
  4. You have to click in the reply window first, then paste. Are you doing that?
  5. You can make some door handles out of bits of silver wire.
  6. Welcome aboard! And believe it or not, you're not the only Indonesian member here!
  7. A lot of people have claimed that Zep ripped off their work. And in many cases it's absolutely obvious. And there have been quite a few lawsuits filed and "settled" by Zep paying up... also, in some cases the song credits listed on Zep albums have been changed to give credit where credit is due. The "Taurus" case is interesting... it does sound a lot like the opening of "Stairway to Heaven," and I've read that The Yardbirds (of which Jimmy Page was a member) toured with Spirit... draw your own conclusions...
  8. At what point does the process break down? Are you able to copy the image URL on the PB site? Are you able to paste that info into your post here? If you copied the correct info from PB and pasted it here into your post, it should look like this:
  9. Real nice! The paint is beautiful! Dang, you sure build fast! It seems like you're posting a new model every day or two...
  10. Don't worry about any of that. Just do what you did in your post... it worked!
  11. Posting photos from Photobucket is incredibly easy. 1. Open a new browser window and go to your PB album. Click on the upper right corner of the photo you want to post...you'll see a pop-up that says "Get Links"... 2. Click on "Get Links" and then hold your cursor over the IMG CODE link where it says "URL"... 3. Click. The image tag will turn yellow and it will say "copied"... Then just paste what you copied into your post here. When you click "POST" your image will appear in your post here as if by magic. To post more than one photo, go back to PB, click on the X at the upper right of the links popup to make it go away, and repeat the process for any other photos you want to have appear in your post here. Once you have all of the photo URLs copied into your post here, hit "POST" and they will all appear here in your post.
  12. I've heard "puget." As in Puget Sound.
  13. As the topic title says, they are from NEO. http://neoshop.replicars.nl/
  14. Dang, man! That is beautiful! Your paint is flawless. Great job on this, you should be very proud of it! PS: Love the air filter on and off shots... Man... Chrysler sure built some nice looking cars.
  15. I hear you, Matt. A lot of people post their questions in the Tips section because they're looking for tips, and I am constantly moving topics to the correct spot... but still, a question belongs in the section for questions. The rationale is this: By having a separate Tips and Tricks section, people can go there to look for tips and techniques without needing to sift through all sorts of other people's questions. But your comment makes sense... the answer to a person's question inevitably results in a tip or trick or technique. You are correct on that point. Maybe combining the Q&A with tips and tricks makes sense. Let me think about this.
  16. Mehr-koor. Poo-zhoh. Ow-dee (rhymes with "howdy," not "naughty"). But what drives me crazy is the car ads where the British voiceover guy smugly says "Jag-yooo-ah."
  17. How are you trying to post photos? Directly from your computer or via a photo-hosting site like Photobucket?
  18. Please post questions in the Question and Answer section.
  19. Please post questions in the Question and Answer section. Asking about the benefits of primer is a question, it's not a tip or a trick.
  20. Please post questions in the Question and Answer section, not in the Tips section. Asking about what sort of glue to use is a question, not a tip or trick or technique.
  21. Try installing a new browser. Your web browser may be outdated.
  22. You're right, the capacitor is a works/doesn't work thing. If the motor runs at all, it's not the capacitor. I also ordered the RPM sensor figuring it was a cheap gamble (also $12). No go. So I'm going with a new mother board. If that doesn't fix it, I quit! New opener!
  23. Beautiful! Simple, crisp and clean. The wheels really suit it. Very nice work. I'd love to have that in my garage!
  24. You should always go with the voices in your head...
