  1. Isn't there an "opt out" feature?
  2. I get the same emails, but in my case the products featured are right up my alley. Odd that they missed your preferences so badly. But of course, you are free to not open their emails...
  3. Yeah, what are they, too cheap to wrap them???
  4. I agree 1,000%. In my opinion, ebay is one of the wonders of the internet. It has opened up possibilities to us (and everyone else) that we couldn't have even imagined 20 years ago, and changed our hobby for the better. And considering the sheer enormous size of the site and how many transactions happen every single day, the fact that it works as smoothly as it does is astounding. If anyone has shown us what the internet can be, it's ebay. Every time someone calls it "evilbay" it's like nails on a chalkboard. 99.99% of the time, the person who is blaming "evilbay" for his problem is actually having the problem with another ebay user, not with ebay itself.
  5. Same here!
  6. You are one smoooooooth operator...
  7. Chris... this one may have been too easy! Way too many people got it right! This week's car is a 1962-66 Willys Interlago Berlineta. From wikipedia: The (Alpine) A108 was also produced in Brazil, thanks to an agreement with Willys-Overland. Renamed as Willys Interlagos, the model was built in three versions: berlineta, coupé, and convertible. The car also had a successful racing career. From 1962 to 1966, a total of 822 Interlagos were made in São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo. 8. While whispering sweet nothings about manufacturing in her ear?
  9. No, I'm sorry... the correct answer is "East Dakota."
  10. That turned out great! Very nice.
  11. It all depends on whether you're a builder or a collector. If you're a builder, then obviously you're not going to pay big bucks for an original when you can get a reissue for a lot less. If you're a collector, reissues won't affect the value of an original much. There is only one original release of a given kit, no matter how many times the kit is reissued. And serious collectors will pay the price for an original issue; reissues are basically worthless to a collector.
  12. Do you know that for a fact? I would have guessed it would be the Beatles.
  13. Ah yes... the true meaning of Christmas!
  14. That's only true if you're from Kansas...
  15. If you ever want to see the true stupidity of the American populace on display, catch an episode of "Jaywalking" on Jay Leno's show. Makes you wonder how this country functions at all...
  16. The "Christmas season" used to start after Thanksgiving. Now I see Christmas displays in the stores the day after Halloween! What next? We start the "Christmas season" the day after Labor Day?
  17. Does your 200 need E85? Can't you use regular old gas?
  18. Brings back memories. My boss at the time had one (red). Always thought it was a really cool car.
  19. I wasn't sure you guys would know this one. He's sort of a "local hero"...
