Technically they aren't "pop up" ads. A typical "pop up" ad opens in a secondary browser window apart from the window of the site you're on.

The question is, given the fact that we need one or the other, which do you guys prefer: Ads or a membership fee to access the forum? Given how many people cry about the price of a $25 kit, I think I know what the answer would be.

The clunky-looking front end is the problem... the rest of the car isn't all that awful.

Huh??? Who said anything about it being "real" or "normal" or that you should be able to buy one at a dealership? Where do you get that from??? I doubt you could go to the local dealership and buy Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or James Bond's tricked-out Aston Martin or a talking Trans Am like Knight Rider's KITT... all of which are on the list. The list is supposedly the "greatest" TV and movie cars. Whether the car is "real" or not has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

Yep, I get that. But for me... I do what I do from the house, so a laptop isn't necessary. Ironically enough, the laptop I own is a PC!
