  1. Me too. Pretty cool little car. But I agree with Dan... neither of them is really what we would consider a "rat rod," but that's not important. They both show good creativity. BTW... real full name in your signature is a forum rule. Somehow I get the feeling your name isn't really "Spot."

    Nicely done!
  3. I think they're wrong. The shape of the front fenders changed in 1906, so reboxing this 1905 kit as a 1907 is wrong as far as I can tell.
  4. The best, easiest, and cheapest way to speed up the drying process is to put the painted parts into a food dehydrator. You can find a dehydrator for around $30 or so. No need to get more complicated than that, a dehydrator works great. Way too small to be of use to a model builder. It looks like you couldn't fit a body in there.
  5. Please post modeling questions in the Question and Answer area.
  6. He was a real-life Chicago cop for 18 years... then he was hired as a "consultant" by Michael Mann... then he actually began to be cast in acting roles, usually playing what else...a cop!
  7. 69 is way too early to be checking out...
  8. I received the Rolls kit today. I love coming home and seeing a big cardboard box sitting at the front door!
  9. Those are all spectacular! Beautiful models, beautiful cars. Ford really made some nice looking cars back then... that '66 especially. Wow, what a beautiful car (and model)!
  10. Very nice! The paint in that first photo looks just about perfect!
  11. Got the wings attached, one side of the rigging done, decals done. I need to take some new photos.
  12. Remember... do not post any hints or answers here! PM me with year, make and model. The answer: 1948 Playboy Convertible
  13. Google search.
  14. In 1969 Chevy built 6,103 Novas with a 4 cylinder engine.
  15. Price: Pending. Uh oh...
  16. I wish I had one just like that in real life!
  17. Good thing you kept it sane! So when are you going to build a model of that "Octo-Auto?" Seems like it's right up your alley! BTW... congratulations for taking our comments in the spirit they were meant.
  18. Oh, and all bought on ebay!
  19. Here are just a handful. If you want to see more you'll have to do your own search! http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=68880&hl= http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=68927&hl= http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=68865&hl= http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=25679&hl= http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=68998&hl= http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69027&hl=
  20. Yes. You can upload from a "private" album and the photo will show up here.
  21. Yes. See the photo... and the link also takes you to the photo opening in another window. But only to that photo, not to the album.
  22. It's all in how you set your preferences. PB lets you make your albums "public" or "private."
