  1. Looks like you're a victim yourself. "American" should be capitalized!
  2. It's true... think about it. How often these days do any of us actually write anything anymore? Like Rob, about the only thing I still write by hand is my signature on a check. And even that is disappearing with online bill pay and that sort of thing.
  3. Everything about this model is very impressive. Moebius really went the extra mile to get it right, and they didn't cut any corners on the packaging, either. Great box art, and that instruction sheet is a thing of beauty in itself. That is how all kit instruction sheets should look. Nice, clear, well designed layout with all pertinent info including factory colors. Terrific job!
  4. A small, fuel-efficient, "sensible" little commuter car would probably take car of the daily transportation needs of 90% of us, but it's about choice. Americans like to have a wide variety of choices when they go car shopping. Let's face it, nobody needs a gigantosaurus 4wd SUV to drive themselves to work every day. But that's what some people want. Does it make sense, logically? No, of course not. But as long as gigantosaurus SUVs are legal to own and operate, and the owner can afford the gas, hey, that's their choice and their business. Same with full-size coupes. Are they for everyone? No, but there are those who prefer them. Does a full-size coupe make sense to the type of person that drives a Prius? Probably not... but then again, the full-size coupe guy probably doesn't see the point of the Prius. Different strokes for different folks.

They stopped making it years ago.
  6. I mean as far as posting a build-up here. It's already been done (sounded like Art maybe didn't see that thread). Of course that doesn't mean that everyone else can't also post their own Hudsons here. Sorry... I wasn't very clear.
  7. Have you seen Bill Coulter and Len Carsner's buildup on this kit in the Workbench section??? The show has already begun, played through, and finished!
  8. So is one of the three building versions factory stock?
  9. The more Hudson builds posted here, the merrier! Go to it, Art!
  10. How can any red-blooded American dislike a Hudson??? That's like saying you can't stand Thanksgiving or the flag! Hey, wait a minute... you're not secretly a commie, are you???
  11. I hate to lock threads; it seems so authoritarian. As long as people aren't savagely attacking each other, I say let the members decide for themselves whether a thread is worth their time or not. If members find the thread useless, they'll stop posting and it will drop down the page and soon disappear. But as long as people keep posting about how upset they are that a particular thread is still going on, all they're doing is helping the thread live another day. You're perfectly free to completely ignore this thread if you find it offensive, boring, inane, stupid or whatever. Yet you keep posting here and that just prolongs it. BTW... very clever with the "hidden" message... but the mod sees all...
  12. I know... I really need to come out of my shell and speak my mind one of these days...
  13. It would, if you guys would stop making posts.
  14. Sorry, but the "4x4" stance doesn't work with this car.
  15. They're all pretty offensive if you ask me... but that one is offensive and crass!
  16. Welcome aboard! Glad you found us!
  17. Or if you're really serious about getting your spelling right you can write your post in Word or some other program that has a good spell check feature, then copy and paste to your post here. Of course, someone as well-versed in the English language and all of its nuances as I am doesn't need to do that...
  18. Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered... weak and weary... Yikes! I guess I am the raven!
  19. I never said "collectibility" is a synonym for "excellence." Original GI Joe lunch boxes are collectible. Why? Because they represent the ultimate in lunch box engineering and technological excellence? Uh, no. Because there are only so many out there, and they ain't making any more.
  20. Yessir, that they are...
  21. A donk is a car that has huge clown-car wheels. One of the absolute dumbest automotive fads ever, IMO. An automotive abomination if there ever was one.
