  11. Actually, "Other Models" means any models that are not cars or trucks... like ships, tanks, planes, locomotives, etc. Your Chevy has every right to go "Under Glass."
  12. Now that is one crazy Rolls! That's one of the cool things about model cars... you can do stuff in scale that would be very hard (and expensive) to do in "real life." I can't say I've ever seen a pro-street RR before!

From wikipedia: A popular modification for the flathead was conversion to an overhead valve configuration, and many such modification kits were available, including the Ardun heads from Zora Arkus-Duntov who was to go on to fame as the "father of the Corvette". These conversions were not initially demanded by hot rodders looking for extra power, as they had not yet exhausted the capabilities of the flathead configuration, but were demanded by users of the engine in trucks and other such high load applications, where the constant flow of hot exhaust through the block to the exhaust manifolds caused the entire engine to overheat; the overhead valve heads routed the exhaust out more directly, and away from the block.

  20. I have no idea to what extent computers were used to create the new Falcon kit, or what software was used, or how proficient in that software the people who were using it are. But in my opinion, it's not any software shortcomings that are to blame for inaccurate kits. Today's 3D modeling and CAD software is incredibly sophisticated... there is no way it couldn't be used to create an absolutely accurate model. My guess is, the reason for all the mistakes we see is basic corner-cutting... not "sweating the details" and accepting "close enough." I mean, the exhaust system on the kit is completely wrong, and that's not a software limitation... that's "human error."
