  1. Go to his website and email him. Maybe he'll give you an interview! (I found his site by googling his name)
  2. I don't think that would interest too many readers. No offense to him, but so what that he builds or collects model cars? So do a lot of people... that doesn't make for a particularly interesting magazine article unless the person is a big name in the hobby itself, or a well-known celebrity or otherwise famous person. Just my 2ยข...
  3. I just bought a pair of aftermarket tires for a Pocher kit made of soft black resin. Looks and feels like rubber.
  4. Can a Charger be a Charger without it???
  5. Exactly. We're talking 1/16 scale... that would be a tiny chain.
  6. Come on down!!!
  7. If I lived where snow in late October/early November was "normal" I'd move!!!
  8. Way too early for snow! Oh, and by the way, that is a spectacular model. So clean and sharp, everything looks surgically precise. Very nice work!
  9. Uh... is that snow on the ground???!!
  10. Whenever somebody makes me laugh out loud I have to give 'em credit...
  11. The "Star of India" was a custom, one of a kind RR.
  12. I don't get it. What was the point of posting a photo of the real thing?
  13. You need to keep reading model-related books. They don't review themselves, you know...
  14. Was that chain in the photo built piece by piece? Is that photo a model?
  15. I can't imagine that anyone could assemble that thing and actually have it work... unless you are good at "Lord's Prayer on the head of a pin" type stuff! The parts are incredibly tiny, you practically need a microscope to build it! I'd love to see the finished product as assembled.
  16. Several dozen???
  17. I assume the braking system will be static... so why the need for a chain that "actually works?" I don't think you'll find a "real" chain in such a small scale. The only ones I know of are 1/8 scale and are built up link by link just like the real thing... they "work," but they're twice as big as you need.
  18. For some reason Buicks are really popular in China. Go figure...
  19. It's not every day you see a model several times bigger than the "1:1"...
  20. I'm talking about the girl, not that weird thing she's sitting on!
  21. Believe me, there is nobody more frustrated by the lack of newsstand presence than me.
