  1. Looks like the fit between valve cover, head, and block is a bit imprecise. Would a little more sanding of the mating surfaces tightened up those joints a bit?
  2. Nice job! All the little details look good, nice paint... nice everything!
  3. Call me crazy, but this has been moved to the Model Truck section.
  4. Truck kits? I moved it to "Model Trucks." Yeah, we have a model truck section...
  5. That's pretty much what they are!
  6. Amazing, considering how tiny the kit is!
  7. Ted, I didn't mean to imply that you had any issues with Gregg or the forum. But I had seen several of your models posted here, but always posted by someone else, not by you! So naturally I wondered what the story was.
  8. Beautiful! I love your color combo, the 2 blues with the cream wheels. Very, very nice work...
  9. I figure a little scuffing with some fine sandpaper before painting will do the trick.
  10. I love Chargers! (well, except for the new ones... )
  11. Ricky Ricardo's patience??? Don't you remember his most famous line? "Luuuuuuucy.... you got some 'splainin to do!"
  12. They call them "UV stable resin"... not sure if that's ABS or not. http://www.agentfortyseven.com/S197/mirrors.html
  13. Stunning! And the "wood" looks fantastic. Beautiful work...
  14. That's a lot of scratchbuilt hinges you've set yourself up for!
  15. Oh! I thought you were looking for names...
  16. By the way... those little "side marker lights" between the front wheel and the door (from your photos it looks like you painted them to represent lights)... they're not lights, they're actually the external bonnet latches (under a swing-away cover). They should actually be chrome. Only the first 500 E-Types had these, from car #501 onwards these were moved to the interior, and the bonnet sides there were smooth.
  17. It recently sold at auction for more than 2 million euros... wheels and all!!!
  18. I like it!
  19. Yes, you understand this game perfectly!!! Final vote: 39 REAL, 26 MODEL. Fairly close, but the majority wins! It's REAL! Coming Monday... Auto ID Quiz #2!
  20. The stools look great, very cool. This is going to be great!
  21. Put your bib on... here's another view...
  22. Good looking model. The paint looks smooth and slick, I like it. I see you changed things up under the hood as far as colors go, but since you used different wheels, I guess this car isn't supposed to be "factory stock"...
  23. Guys... let's let this one go, please.
  24. Mike, I see your point. This forum is a lot more user friendly, and I support that idea 100%. I got a little cranky... it's based on past events that I don't want to rehash here. I'm all better now...
  25. I do have a problem with someone posting on this forum what a great issue the "other" magazine just put out! Look, all of us here know that SA exists, and everyone over there knows that MCM exists... and in fact most of us know that they both exist. But I spend a LOT of hours working on this magazine, and monitoring this website. I have a lot of myself invested in MCM, and I don't take too kindly to posts on this forum telling our members what a great issue SA just put out. Yeah, I take it personally. Especially considering what happened over there, and what caused me to leave that forum and join this one. I know you meant no harm, and I don't mean to jump on you personally. No hard feelings, you didn't mean any harm and I know that. You just hit a sore spot with me.
