Execution of Pvt. Slovik starred Martin Sheen as Eddie Slovik, it came out in the early 70s, I think. And Pelham 123 was a made-for-TV movie years before it was a theatrical release. I don't remember many details, it was long ago, but I seem to remember Walter Matthau was in it? But I do remember that it was good.
I'm not sure if these old made-for-TV movies are available these days.I recently watched Lizzie Borden on youtube, but the problem is it's chopped up into about 6-7 "episodes." Maybe hulu would have these movies in one piece?
Edit: Pelham 123 was originally a theatrical movie with Walter Matthau (the version I remember seeing), then a made-for-TV movie, and finally a theatrical move again (Denzel Washington???)
