  1. Wow Andy, that looks really great.
  2. This weekend my daughter, her husband and my grandson will be up here in western PA from VA for the Memorial Day weekend BBQ & "party" at Brian's brother's home about 20 minutes north of us in Zelienople. On Saturday my daughter is going wedding dress shopping with a friend who is getting married this summer. She will be dropping off my 3 year old grandson with me so he can spend the day with Grandpa. I have 3 snap kits all ready for us to work on... an Impala Police Car (he likes "Official vehicles" as his daddy works for the FBI, his uncle works for Homeland Security, and a neighbor in VA works for the Secret Service. They all have "official work vehicles".), I also have a Humvee, and a Helicopter (he likes them but calls them "Hockalipters". I'm looking forward to having a great old time with AJ. When we talk on the phone he always asks "What did you build for me?"
  3. John, that looks really great. You did a dynamite job on all the little realistic details as usual.
  4. That is an absolutely beautiful car Randy. Great job.
  5. You've got some great looking models Chris.
  6. Another great build and save from your bench Al. You continue to just knock them out.
  7. Guy, if you do wind up eventually using BMF for masking, be prepared for a beeyotch of a time removing the BMF as it tends to stick REALLY GOOD when you paint over it. I had a heck of a time removing it when I used it to mask a paintjob.
  8. Great project Steven. I finished a Modelhaus convertible last year with skirts and a connie kit.
  9. Nice pictures Tom. Looks like it was a great show.
  10. That's a great looking model Jay.
  11. Dante, that looks really great. Wonderful job on the weathering.
  12. OK, I've had just about enough of spring rains already..!! Every day for a week or so gets real old, real fast. The grass and weeds make the yard look like a jungle (my lawn service is due to show up any day now). I can't paint, even in my basement, because the lacquers blush..!! 70 to 90% humidity just makes everything feel "sticky". I feel for all of you guys in Florida and other areas who experience this all the time.
  13. That is looking really great Jim. I love the color.
  14. Hey Brian. Welcome to our plastic playground. Check out the Long Island Auto Replica Society if you're in the mood to join a good model car club. http://www.liarsmodelcarbuilders.com/

  18. Harry, did anyone ever tell you that you're a pain in the butt?
  19. Thanks a lot Mike and Bruce, I was able to straighten the metal bumpers a bit on the body but I'm leaving it alone for now, I'm moving on to the next "victim"...... a '57 Pontiac promo.
  20. Steven, you did a beautiful job on this truck.
  21. That's another beauty Steven. You've got a whole stable full of great cars.
  22. Yeah, sweet sounds. I remember back when I had my '59 Dodge. I had it converted to dual exhausts with a pair of Cherry Bombs. It only had a 326 cu. in. engine but those glass packs gave it a real sweet sound. I used to be able to tell how fast I was going without looking at the speedo by the sound of the exhaust. Those were fun days. My friend Tom had a '67 Pontiac LeMans that had a beautiful rap..rap...rap sound when he let off the gas.
  23. Michael, this looks just wonderful. Your details throughout the car are first rate.
