Thanks Richard. My original plan was to do it the way you said but would have required more body work and I just got lazy. There are trucks on the pipelines that have their beds completely rhino lined. So it could go either way. I might rhino line the bottom of the cab and build a new bumper and line it too. We shall see.
Bottles and lids painted. Got to use my new paasche talon airbrush. Taillights machined, painted and installed as well as the marker lights. Now to start working on the cab.
I was waiting for someone to ask that question. A hoosier pole swings and extends out from the truck to hold welding cables, amp remote or an umbrella for shade. It gives you a place to hang the cables so you can drive ahead when on the pipelines.
Thanks. I thought the same thing when I did a test on a spoon but when I matched it to a brand new rhino job on a coworkers truck it was perfect. I think the light shinning right on it makes it look glossier.
That's the way that the kit comes. I think it's so that it's easier to get the interior in. It will fit if you put the corners on first but it is tight.
Great start! I also saw that car and am going to build one like it. Looks like you beat me to it. I did the same with the wheels on my 71 but machined my own caps and used the tires from the revell 32 ford. [/url
