  1. So I’m in the process of printing a 2021 gmc 2500. The rear axle just so happens to fit perfectly on this dodge and looks better than the one I built so….I guess I will print another one
  2. Look here. He has a couple different ones to print. https://cults3d.com/en/users/modellbau1zu24/creations
  3. Rear leafs springs are done. I need to print the wheels so I can add them to the rear and set up the front ride height.
  4. If I kept the moebius tires I probably would have left it 2wd. My college welding instructor had a 2wd rig that he used on the pipelines so I was kinda going to build it as a remembrance of him. I am a pipelime welder by trade so as far as welders go I like both. But I prefer Lincoln on the truck and Miller in the shop.
  5. It is not my stl file but I did print it. I have the file for a Lincoln welder as well
  6. So I decided to change wheels and tires. I printed the tires and taillights. Still need to print the wheels. And i am going 4 wheel drive. The kit axles are a no go so I used some old mopar axles and upgraded the tubes so I can cut them to fit. I will be making the leaf springs as well.
  7. As if I needed another project I just couldn’t help myself and decided to start another welding rig. I will be using the reissued 78 dodge from mpc. I will need to shorten the wheel base to accommodate the bed. The bed, tanks and welder are all 3D printed. I plan to use a set of dually wheels and tires from the moebius ramp truck. At this time I think I’m going to keep it 2wd but that could change. Here is where it sits.
  8. Do you have a link to your cults page?
  9. While waiting for paint to dry on my utility truck I decided to start a replica build of a truck my dad used to own. He bought it from my brother in law and decided to restore the cab and interior. I was in between jobs at the time so I was helping him out on the farm. During the resto I built a flatbed for it. I am starting with a revell ford ranger step side kit. The kit is a short box so I added the appropriate amount to the chassis to make it an 8ft bed. I will be scratch building the flatbed for it.

  10. This is the 4th truck in a series of gas utility trucks from the company I work for. The truck is an AMT 95 ford with the utility bed from the moebius service trucks. As usual it will be weathered.
  11. After looking at the pics I realized I need to put the door handles on?
  12. Calling this one done
  13. Just need to finish up the ramp body and it will be under glass
  14. Got this ramp truck going. Wasn’t going to be quite this weathered but a couple mistakes took it in this direction. Here is where it’s at. Should be finished pretty soon
  15. So to those with the warped ramp parts, it can still be built. Mine was warped about 1/4” from one corner to the other. I clamped the bottom to a 2x4 and assembled one piece at a time while keeping it clamped the whole time making sure the glue was dry before gluing the next piece. It now lays perfectly flat and is very solid. The hood and floor pan I will have to try the hot water trick and clamp down while cooling.
  16. Tried for a box stock build but just couldn’t bring myself to do it.
  17. Kit wheels yes but the tires are from fireball modelworks.
  18. Well since I can’t seem to finish anything I might as well start another one. I will be using the new dodge 3500 from A&N models. This kit is very nice. Here is where it’s at so far.
  19. The only problem with the available Cummins engine is that they are the wrong one. This truck would have a 6.7 and the available aftermarket ones are the 5.9 12 valve. I guess you could 12 valve swap a fifth gen dodge. ?
  20. Just put an order in for one. Just wish they would have made a Cummins for it.
  21. Thanks. Here is the link to the file creator. He has some other great welding related stuff as well. https://cults3d.com/en/users/modellbau1zu24/creations
  22. I was able to get my hands on some 3D files for welding machines and I was never really happy with the box set up so this one came back out for some changes.
  23. Not my best work but it turned out ok
