  1. I just tried registering at emodelcars & couldn't. It doesn't give me a pin # to copy at the end of the form. I went to "help" but you need a pin # to ask a question. Anyone else have this problem?
  2. PM me a list as well, please.
  3. I like this kit. I painted mine metallic black & made it 2-wheel drive. Good idea swapping out suspension. That's the weak point in this kit. I'll be watching.
  4. ........Ditto!
  5. So pretty. Please carry on!
  6. That's it, Harry. I have 16 & 10 yr old daughters & I have to keep up with them. I actually used my 1st LOL a while back. OMG, FWIW, IMHO, & such followed shortly thereafter. It still feels inadequate to use them, but I'm trying my best to adjust. Sometimes it feels good to be laughed at!!!!LOLOLOLOL.....That's a new one, guys!
  7. ......It is pointless to expect them to change their ways. Different dialects have developed within the same society for thousands of years. For the longest time, in America at least. This has translated mostly into accents. With the advent of the internet, cell phones & texting, there is actually a new vernacular developing.
  8. From '94-'09, I worked masonry construction. About once a month we'd pull off a job to build a cell tower "shack". Basically a reinforced brick, block building to house monitoring equipment for the tower. The plan, as I understood it, was to have a tower every 2 miles on a grid to supply cell phone services. Spome of the places these towers were built took a lot of clearing to get to. A lot of people in the private sector benefitted financially for agreeing to have these built on their land. Obviously, it started in large metro areas. Perhaps they haven't made it to less populated areas yet? Every 2 miles? The face of the planet? Delusions of grandeur? It's happening, though ! Hang tight.
  9. ......sans party line, I live there!
  10. ........You almost defined "difference of opinion" ?
  11. Glad to hear that, James.
  12. Great start, Steve! I'm glad you are doing this build. I should be getting this kit in the mail any day now. I can tell already I'll be "borrowing" some ideas from you, lol. Thanks.
  13. ......VERY beautiful car & well excecuted conversion. But in Chevy?
  14. Gotta love the Mopars!
  15. Looks cool. Thank you for not chopping the top. Far out ride!
  16. I may get bashed here, but....I think your onto something. This doesn't fit into any comfy little "pigeon hole" and sometimes people are put off by new ideas. That's why we see so many Mercs & Fords with flatheads & WWW tires(which I love). I, for one, would enjoy seeing where you take this!
  17. ..........OMG!!! I thought this was a family oriented post! This is just pure filth!!
  18. Scott, it's kinda hard for me to make out, but it sure looks like the same one they used on the '70 Superbird. Did the Johan kit have it? Just a thought.
  19. Very interesting mix of custom & pro-street styles. Personally, I think it's a shame to cover those nice meats with skirts, but it's cool enough for me to follow.
  20. Nice looking ride. It may be "plain jane" in 1:25, but wow in the 1:1 world. Sometimes less is more.
  21. That gold nova is one of my faves. I liked the gold(?) '65 Chevelle as well. Lotsa great stuff in those pics.
  22. Ira, I've always been of the opinion that imagination is more important to an artist than raw talent. You, kind sir, are blessed with both! Carry on!
