  1. Is the grille molded to the body in this kit? This is gonna be a very interesting build.
  2. I thought it meant that you are "following" that thread?
  3. I just tried to register & it won't show me a PIN to verify & it won't accept my registration w/o verifying the PIN.
  4. Sweet looking scoot, Jim! I'd like to see the other 2. Gotta love a Hog! And..............It's so SHINY!! OK, I gotta stop that, LOL.
  5. I LOVE the trick on the wheels! Very creative. How well did the engine go together? I have this engine for use in an old pro-touring project but haven't built it yet.....I'm thinking the chrome "stripe" might look good continuing around the perimeter of the rim? Just a thought.
  6. If you have patience, you could try .009 electric guitar strings.
  7. .......While the bondo balls are still soft, roll them around on sandpaper to "texture" them?
  8. Got a "big n little" set of American 200 S "Daisy" resin mag wheels from Casey today. Excellent quality! I highly recommend them! Thanks Casey!
  9. I'll be following this one. I always liked the older Porsches.
  10. looks good! love the killer stance.
  11. ts341: That's a nice cruiser, you should post it in "Under Glass".
  12. Looks like the real deal Chuck. Great way to spend a sleepless night! Nice job.
  13. Cool pics, Doc! Sorry it rained on your parade. I must have planned a dozen trips from K.C. over the years, none ever "panned" out. Pun intended! Thanks for the show!
  14. Beautiful start on a great kit. Welcome back. I'll be following along!
  15. Looking REAL good Mike. It has "attitude"! Keep it up please!
  16. Very nice work. I love the longroofers & this one is especially nice.
  17. It doesn't affect me at all. I don't know where the closest hobby store is. I'm sure there must be some in Houston or Austin, but I'm right in the middle, a little over 70 miles either way. IT's the cost of postage that gets me!
  18. ^Λ VERY well said, Harry! And if you're using examples of favorite artists, I like your tastes!
  19. Very nice, Jim! It's very realistic. And so.........SHINY! Haha! I like the interior alot. Clean & functional. The color complements the body color perfectly!
  20. I've never built factory stock, so research is not very important to me. I am a carnut/gearhead so most of what I would "need" to know is already in my head. I do see ideas I have borrowed from other cars. My love of cars keeps me looking at them & occasionally I use what I've seen, but that's not why I look.
  21. I'm glad you're bringing this one back. All the extra details you're doing are gonna be so cool!
  22. ......I agree Jim. This is better looking than the pickup they sold in '41!
  23. Very cool cruiser. Nice job!
  24. Amazing craftsmanship! I remember seeing a 1:1 customized in Classic Custom Trucks mag a few years back. I would LOVE to have a kit of this in 1:25.
