  1. Dude, this is gonna be sweet! I'm still looking.
  2. That's a sharp car, Andy! You did a great job on it. Now I'm gonna have to look at working on mine again, lol!
  3. Cool project! Like the Plum! Very cool injection set-up. Groovy sleeper.
  4. Does the Beatnik Bandit 2 have M2 susp.? I've only seen it once long ago.
  5. The only model car shows/contests I have been to were ones associated w/ 1:1 car shows. Most of these I attended while "out" of modeling, so I am going on my behavior on these forums. I always "follow" builds here that I can learn from or that I have a similar build planned for. Or if I just plain LOVE it. No big news here. I also "follow" builds I like in the "Under glass" forum so I can revisit them from time to time. So I guess I would enjoy seeing the same builds at shows that I have enjoyed in the past. Of course if I ever had to compete against them, lol, that might change. As someone pointed out earlier, competition brings into play human nature that is not always civil!
  6. ......This is really nice! I don't know how you guys do these smaller scale cars. I can barely get my eyes & hands on the same page in 1/25 scale! Very cool, Thanks!
  7. ......Thanks high octane! I have this kit. I want to highly modify it kinda like Brett did his 'Cuda snapper......don't trust my skills yet ,lol. After I get some more bench time in, maybe!
  8. That's a cool '64 project, Ron. I have a Lindberg as well as Johans Petty '64 molded in yellow. Lotsa mold lines & sink marks in the Johan. I like what you're doing with yours. Thanks for posting.
  9. That is one sweet cruiser!!
  10. .......Monty, while you are 100% correct, I find that, in this hobby, it can be a motivational tool to view other peoples builds as well as 1:1 reference picks. It helps me at times.
  11. I know these are VERY popular drag racing subjects, but I'm a bit surprised more street versions haven't been built. Not disappointed, because mine might stand out more being "rare" street builds!?
  12. You got it right, both year & build. Nice looking tandem!
  13. Very nice start Mark! I'm anxious to see the rest of it come together.
  14. Very cool start. SOOOooo many paint possibilities!
  15. Very nice '64! Thanks! I have a couple Belvedere kits & a couple Dodge kits, I've been considering swapping roofs so l can have a Savoy & a Polara.
  16. I'm gonna LOVE this one. One of my favorite kits as a kid. I like the modest chop!
  17. I have a kit-bash project-'94 SVT Cobra GT into a '53 Victoria-that's been going, on & off, since 1997. I built MANY in a day many years ago. The last one was probably a '61 Ranchero in about '79.
  18. Far be it for a mere mortal to give you advice, but since you asked...I like the weathered Baja 500 idea. I'd like to see you "muddy" something up!
  19. Custom junk? Sounds like what's on my workbench, lol. Unplanned, though.
  20. Thanks, High Octane. I have lots of 1:1 pics, I was hoping to see some built models to help me get motivated.
  21. Thats a nice looking wheel, Casey. I'd be interested in a set of "big n littles". can you PM me with details?
  22. I finally got a '65 Satellite Resin kit from R&R. Now I can build my tri-fecta. I've seen MANY drag versions of these cars. Would ya'll please post any street versions of these beautiful Mopars That you've built for inspiration? Thanks for your help, Bart
