Thanks Jason and everyone else for all of the positive feedback! While I would love to say the idea was mine alone, I must admit that I was inspired by a sketch that I saw in Traditional Rod and Kulture mag. Here is the sketch by Zombie below. My build is not meant to be an exact replica, and does vary in several ways. Also, I tied this build in with an online Three-N-one build theme where you were using major kit parts from at least three different kits, thus the name C-N-Things, as in the C-cab and other things. Those other things in this case being 29 fenders and bed where I think the sketch below uses 32 fenders etc. I also had the 32 grill and the motor and suspension mostly from the Ala Kart kit. Still, I hope you all enjoy it.

I am not sure I could ever make money doing that, simply because I am not sure I could part with the models. Maybe if I was pulling down that kind of coin on a consistant basis, well... Almost every model I built and parted with, I regret. Most I have made for folks I know, like my father, but even those I miss but at least I know where they are. The worst was when I moved from Indiana to Phoenix, as one of the boxes that had my childhood builds did not survive the journey to my current location. It makes me sick sometimes, but from my childhood I only have a handful.

Thanks Danno, it took third in Street Rod, and my 29 Ford took first. At first I was worried when they were competing against each other, as I had considered this one for custom class in my mind, again, I see this one more as a show rod, but hey, it all worked out! BTW, it was a pleasure meeting you in person as well. Maybe next time, we can chat more. Thanks Slusher. I am not a fast builder, as I do not get as much time at the bench as I would always like, BUT, I am tenacious! LOL

sharp! Can we see some close up shots of the rear suspension set up you having going?

cab made from chopped up paddy wagon, fends and bed from 29 ford, grill from 32 ford, The Red Ram Hemi and most of the suspension and pieces are from the Ala Kart kit. Even tho you can not see it very well, the plugs are wired, but the distributor sits so far back into the cowel, you just can not see it very well since the plug wire run into the back of each valve cover. Thanks guys, I really appreciate it! It means a lot. I tried really hard to make this match the one I saw in my mind. It comes really really close, but like always, I see the flaws. As always, there are lots of little things that would be easy to overlook and maybe not even show up in these pictures, but I will try to get some better ones up later, maybe tomorrow.

OK, so it is about 12;40 am, and I just got C-N-Things done, I think. Unless I wake up in the morning and see that something just has to be changed. Here are a few shots until the sun comes out tomorrow and I can get more pictures.
