    62 catalina

    Very clean build.
  4. I can see why you got first place. What did you use for your fuel lines?
  5. Wow !!
  6. Your hard work paid off with a clean looking custom. I'm waiting for the glue to dry from the grill install on this same model. The kit is a little "fiddly", the biggest challenge for me was the exhaust and the radiator support fitting. Yours turned out great.
  7. This is coming together great. Your ideas on the rear of the body is almost like a factory prototype. Keep it up.
  8. I like this a lot. Great detail on the chassis and engine. Have you desided on a color yet?
  9. Thankyou for sharing. Lots of nice rods.
  10. I've built a couple of '57 Fords. I had a one owner convertable in the early 60s and a two door post in the mid 60s for a second car. It was the same as the new Revell model with a 312 and 3 speed overdrive. In 1966 I got a new Impala SS, so the new Revell Impala was used on that build. In 1985 we got a new 1986 Monte Carlo SS. Again Revell had a very nice model I built several years ago. I have a Polar Lights model of my '05 GTO and model of our new '10 Charger RT. Starting on a 1951 Ford hot rod like the old days. Rustolume flat black was considered a finish coat and an old Army blanket for seat covers. The warmed over flat head with Evans heads and three 97s.
  11. Still hard to find in the KC area.
  12. I think we all love dogs , whats not to love. Every puppy wants to chew, its in their nature. Just get them some rawhide chew sticks at Petsmart and get a 55 gal. drum of bitter apple spray for everything in sight . Year or so later they will get over it.
  13. Looks great. I'll have to remember this in the future. Thanks for the info.
  14. Looks like smething from a GOODGUYS show.
  15. In the first picture it's hard to tell if its realy in a wrecking yard or not.
  16. Looks like a fun build. How did your cousin like it?

I wouldn't be afraid to inter this build. Looks very good.
  18. Looking good ! What do you have planed for the interior?
  19. color is outstanding! real nice finish.
  20. Your grill looks real good. You should be proud.
  21. This is the first time I remember seeing a restroom in a diorama. Very few come close to your level of detail on the garage, and the two restrooms just put it over the top.
  22. Nice job, It looks like somthing George Barris would have built. I like how you worked in the 300 interior and engine.
  23. Looking Good, I bet this couldn't do a wheel stand in real life with that much wheeeeel base.
  24. That poster reminds me of my #1 son when he was 5 or 6. He also had a Big Wheel and would get going as fast as he could on the sidewalk and turn down the driveway toward the street. The side of the driveway was like a mini ramp where it would meet the curb. He used this to launch himself into the street. I don't think he every got that much "air" as this poster. I had to weld up the front forks about once a week.
