  1. Great looking paint and flame finish. Like the wheels and how you detailed the chassis.
  2. Beautiful paint work and colors. Looking at the body finish and trim someone might not realize just how much effort was put into the body. Great engine and chassis detailing.
  3. Like the creativity. Had a classmate in high school who had a similar 1:1 setup based on a late '40's Chevrolet with duel rear wheels and two seats. He really needed a roll bar based on his driving style but somehow we survived.

  6. Beautiful paint and trim. The engine finishes are very realistic looking.
  7. Beautiful looking finishes and the panel fits all look tight. Great detailing everywhere you look.
  8. The interior looks to well done to call this a "rat rod" themed build. Very well put thought out just using some left-over parts.
  9. Great looking showroom style finishes. Doing all the chrome trim with a toothpick had to be an experience.
  10. Great looking paint work and body trim including the vinyl roof treatment. The engine compartment is very clean looking. Like the stance.
  11. Great looking paint finishes and chrome foil.
  12. First of all, this has to be one of the ultimate Corvairs I have ever seen. Living in southern California in the '60's I had a chance encounter one evening with a Corvair that had a conversion that was done using a kit from a company called Crown Enginering. I was returning from a dinner party in Orange County and was heading back towards San Bernardino where I was living at the time. There is or was a winding canyon area that the hiway went through as you approached the Riverside area. I was driving my '67 El Camino 396 4-speed when this Corvair pulled up alongside of me and jumped on the throttle a couple of times as sort of a challenge. Being young and dumb I took the challenge and promptly found myself looking at his taillights getting very small very quickly.
  13. Great looking Forestry Service pickup. The colors look dead on and a good-looking finish.
  14. Great looking tow truck conversion. The added Duelley rear fenders are a good addition.
  15. Realistic looking body paint and rust finishes. Like the deep off-set wheels and the centers.
  16. Beautiful paint finish. The engine details and the exposed suspension look great.
  17. Time to contact the supplier of the new units. Hopefully the fluid was flushed before the new calipers were installed. Brake fluids, and especially heat temp type fluids seem to have an affinity for moisture, this is most often a problem.
  18. Need a nice bookcase or some type of shelving unit to display your builds.
  19. Old brake fluid and Chevrolets four piston calipers with long periods of sitting is a common problem. There used to be a kit to resleave the calipers for these.
  20. I remember the bus driver we had when I was a Freshman and a Sophomore in High School. #1 we weren't a bunch of smart asses anyway. #2 He had a radio on the then popular WIND, "The windy city station" that played the top forty type of music and he had added a couple of speakers along the top of the windows inside the bus. Everyone was just sort of bobbing and weaving in their seats and we never ever had any sort of discipline problems. The old say "Music soothes the evil beast" seemed to apply.

    1961 Impala

Great looking paint colors and finish. Like the big meats on the rear.
  25. The paint finish looks like a real rusted car that may have had less than ideal paint prep before the color coat was applied before the rust set in.
