  1. Great looking paint color and the finish is nice and smooth. Very realistic looking engine and interior detailing. like the Drag Race theme.
  2. Your body work completely changes the appearance of the Henry J.
  3. Beautiful paint work. The chrome trim looks very cleanly done. The detailing of both the interior and the engine look great and realistic.
  4. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  5. Paint it "Big Bad Orange" bumpers and all.
  6. Like the new look.
  7. Some jurisdictions will use colors from a manufacturers "Fleet" colors that wouldn't be available to a normal retail customer. Suggestion would be to Google Images of that year model Blazer. They normally will have a factory color chart along with images of actual cars. This would give you an idea of what would have been a standard color to see if that was in fact used. When considering a movie prop the movie company may have used a color that fit their production needs and not necessarily be 100 % accurate.
  8. I agree with you on the chrome trim on the top, up until I was looking at a custom build featured in Modern Rodding of a custom '36 Ford roadster. I noticed how they had detailed the top on the 1:1 car. I guess the metal usually used in these applications surrounding the rear window and fasteners are covered with the tops exterior material. After seeing how they did the detailing in chrome I thought I would try it, and I like it.
  9. Hope he doesn't seek revenge.
  10. Great looking finishes and looks like a factory hotrod truck.
  11. Great looking paint finish and color. The "dare to be different" engine setup is a great idea.
  12. Like how you detailed the interior and show what all would have been included if this was in service.
  13. Beautiful looking classic. The paint work reflects what some of the high-end car companies were doing with colors at the time. That same $5000 would have bought a nice new home at the time also.

    2 Old Hot Rod

    Great saves.
  15. Great looking paint treatment and body trim. A classmate had a 1:1 Chevy with the same body style and colors when we were in high school. His didn't look this nice though.
  16. Beautiful looking paint colors and finish, stylish two-tone treatment. Like how you detailed the grill and headlights so that the headlights look like they have lenses.
  17. Well, the fenders and the frame have come together. I'm finding that the issues with the motor mounts causing the engine to sit higher in the chassis is now making the clearance between the engine and the firewall are in conflict with each other. We all know how one little change can be like starting to roll a snowball downhill to only have it turn into a snowman.
  18. Does it taste "gamey"?
  19. Look like one-year olds? Need to check security camaras before going out to fill the bird feeders.
  20. Please share any photos of the models for those who are unable to go.
  21. Hopefully someone will have pictures to share for those of us unable to attend.
  22. Great looking paint color and finish. Like the build style with the "Flipper Hub Caps" and the red painted rims.
  23. Now that's a "Crew Cab" pickup.
  24. Great looking stock bodied build. Like how you posed the hood in the open position.
  25. Beautiful paint color and finish. The Buicks seemed to have a custom looking body from the factory. Clean chrome trim and the interior looks great. Like the wire wheels.
