  1. I knew full well it wasn't a real pic...that wasn't the question.
  2. What do I think of a new Mustang? Nothing. Nothing at all. It never even pops into my head, unless someone shoves it in front me, close enough that I can't immediately dart my attention past it. New car suck. They should just go back to making old ones.
  3. Yep, now you have your test fodder for stripping paint. You needed one anyway. I've found plastic water bottles (or pop bottles, I s'pose) are great to practice on. They have many of the shapes you'll find on a typical car body (in some fashion or other), and being clear, it gives you an opportunity to see what's happening with your initial base that may effect later coats. Main thing is, of course, just keep at it. It's not rocket science, but there is definitely a large "feel" factor to painting, whether it's with a brush, can or airbrush. Once ya catch on to the feel for it, you're 3/4 of the way home. The other 1/4 is Murphy's Law.
  4. Hear, hear! I know it's futile, but I still want to see them reissue the old C cab series. I won't feel complete until I have a T-Bone Stake, and I can never manage to catch one before they sell on the rare occasions they do come up.
  5. Thanks, guys. I've been a non-smoker for nearly two weeks now. Tried having one a couple times when the compulsion was ridiculously intense, but both times it turned out that a cigarette was definitely not what I was craving. My body has gone through so much lately that I'm not sure it knows which way is up, so I'll let things settle back down a bit and see if that compulsion is still there. For now, lots of sunflower seeds and popsickles.
  6. Yep...great trio!
  7. Beauty!
  8. Túlio, sheesh... Good thing I still have one of the old AMT '57 Fords yet unbuilt. I was going to drop-top it, but you may have changed my mind.
  9. Really nice, Rich. And happy belated birthday, as well.
  10. Nice!
  11. Yep...'81. Had 2 of those year.
  12. Good color. Can't wait to see that brassy undertone in the sunlight.
  13. Happy Birthday, George
  14. DENNIS! Hey, old friend! Great to see ya here. Sharp truck!
  15. Thumbs up, Mark.
  16. That came out great, Mark! I think there's a hotlink/button hanging out somewhere when you're editing that says "full editor" click that and you can edit the entire thing, including title.
  17. Cool, but "Tall T" means unchopped, and Tall T lovers tend to be a dedicated bunch. You may cause a broken heart or two with the title.
  18. No, but that new show "Vikings" has me considering it.
  19. kk...Thanks! It looks just right.
  20. Not a good one, but it is me. And YES...I had had the Klingon 'stache the week before.
  21. It did, Steve...but ONLY because they have Jim as tech support!
  22. Thank you, Brett. That's always good to hear. Mark, hey bro no problem at all. You're late to the party but that doesn't mean you can't bring presents anyway. Kevin, no way I could have afforded to keep buying them by the pack! Like many, I went to rolling my own and cut the cost down to around a buck a pack a long time ago. Still, that's a kit a month, right?
  23. Thanks, Marcos. I looked through MCG's catalog and didn't see them. Maybe they're no longer offered? I'm also curious...did you start out with a MM Jet Exhaust base color for some of these? Bill, those carbs are ridiculous, but that's what we've come to expect from you. lol. Btw, you and I did meet briefly once, at one of the Toledo NNL's sometime around 2000 or so. And yes, George is right, your work needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated.
  24. That's a "boot"y!
