  1. Here's the only two I have completed so far. Chrysler slant six in a rail, and Chevy Citation V-6
  2. Great color and wheels, nice "shiny" build Jim!
  3. Luckily, the tires came on the promo, along with the factory wheel covers. The only year they used these wheel covers on a promo.
  4. Here is the only one I have done. It's a detailed '56 promo re-issue in Olympic Blue and Sun Beige.
  5. Cleaned and detailed this promo recently. Color is factory Sandstone metallic.
  6. Very very nice Al. I did the '62 instead of the '63.
  7. Very nice! Great job polishing out the paint. Great idea, now that I know this works, I'm gonna give it a shot!
  8. Here's what I have that's done so far.
  9. Simply beautiful!!!!
  10. Just gorgeous!!!!!
  11. Here's my Snappies
  12. Here's mine, I used a MCW resin 2 door sedan body.
  13. Some of my Caddies
  14. Drooling over the gorgeous Mopars in this thread! These are my favorites of all time. Here's a couple of mine.
  15. Stock promo in Medium Aqua that AMT really did a nice job on. The only thing I found it needed to be correct was the addition of the chrome trim on the wheel wells and above the bodyside molding.
  16. Never bought one, never will. I think I can do better with Play Doh.
  17. Thanks very much for all the kind words!
  18. Just finished restoring my Imperial cvt. Was a glue bomb from ebay, I used some Modelhaus parts, and the engine a big block Mopar from my parts bin, built to replicate a 413. The color is to simulate factory Roman Red metallic, with white and maroon interior. If I were to buy a brand new car in 1964, this is exactly what I would have ordered. Of course I'd have had to make a pretty good living too....
  19. Here is my warped '58 Lincoln 4 door hardtop promo. I've never seen one that hasn't been warped. I've seen them straightened before. Is there anyone out there who can straighten this, then cast the body in resin? I'd send it to you if you think you can do it. There are a whole bunch of us replica stock guys that would love to have one of these in our collections, although not a warped one. I have seen the roof casted before, as it's a removeable roof, and I believe the same one used on the 59-60 Lincoln 2 door kits. Any interest guys?
  20. Quick clean and detail on a promo Dodge Ram. I added the black trim around the windows, black washed the grille and wheels, added thin white walls to the tires (from vinylnation.com) and added the black trim around the tail lights. Looks much more realistic now. Still need to find a set of mirrors from a kit for it.
  21. So this is actually one of Chuck's bodies? Here is a shot of the passenger side. It's a little better on this side.
  22. Just got one of these that I won off ebay from Southern Motorsport Hobbies. While it's a pretty nice casting, the beltline contour of the body sides is missing over the wheel wells. Mostly so on the driver's side as you can see in my pic. I've included a pic of my original JoHan 2 door promo wheel well to show the difference. I know that Ratnasty is producing one as well, and wondered if anyone who has his can compare it to this one. I'd like to have my correct. I am not bashing anyone here, and if it were going to be a drag car replica, I wouldn't mind. But it's going to be built stock, and I'd like it as good as I can get it.
  23. Not really builds so to speak, but modeling techniques were used to achieve a more realistic piece. Here's my 2014 promotional re-furbs.
