  1. I really liked Paul Walker in the movie "8 Below". Not, that I knew a lot about him, but he seemed to be a just good guy, and humanitarian. Any time we lose someone like that it's a big loss. R I P Paul Walker
  2. Well Richard, I thought if it could win the 1967 Trans Am Championship..why not a Cannoball Run! There are WIP pics in the Carroll Shelby Tribute CBP, as well as the Cannobal Run CBP. Thanks for the comments, Richard.
  3. Very Cool!!....but I don't think your twin engined terror is gonna go by any officers un-noticed.
  4. Daniel, those wheels are from the 1969 Shelby GT500 kit, and the tires are from American Satco.
  5. Oscar, You're right on..check out the Shelby CBP in a few days. Roger, I'll be posting pics in this section of the Monroe Mustang when its finished.
  6. Gene, thanks for the comments, and I went back into Photobucket and edited/lightened the pics. It's h_ _ _ getting old, they didn't appear to be that dark when I up loaded them. (I think I need some of these.. )lol
  7. Turned out nicely Oscar, and who ever built the model used for the box art should have used Your wheel painting technique!!
  8. Nice build, and the wheel and tires look great with that body style!!
  9. Lookin' Good Oscar! Nice color, and Your foil work looks very good! The wheel/tire combo is cool choice too.
  10. Pictures of my completed build have been posted in the "Under Glass" section.
  11. Here are some pics of my completed 1967 Mustang, for the Cannonball build project.
  12. Thanks Oscar, because I'v looked in Auto Zone and Pep Boys with no luck.
  13. Thanks Niko, my build will be a Mustang gasser.
  14. That's cool Oscar, is it available in auto parts stores? And which ones? What I've seen in the auto parts stores in my area are fewer touch up paints and color choices in stock.
  15. Hi, not sure if it's too late but, I'd like to get in on this project as long as it's ok?
  16. Hey if anyone is looking for Wimbledon White, I used Tamiya TS7 Racing White for a '65 Nascar Galaxie that I built, and it looks like a good match.
  17. Hi Dennis, Oscar is correct, depending on what scale you're looking for..the AMT kits are 1/25 and Revell-Monograms are 1/24th. Although it is based on the Windsor engine. Search EBay for Ross Gibson resin engines. BTW, in 2009 Ford debuted a new FR9 engine in the Nascar series. Roy
  18. Cool Harry....I've owned a few Fox body Mustangs, now this might turn off a lot of Mustangers. But, I currently own a black and gold '77 Cobra II,
  19. That's just amazing,Chuck!!
  20. I know Competition Resins has Bassets, some of the 1998 Revell-Monogram kits had them also. I found them in the Monte Carlos from that series.
  21. Roy, check out the Shelby Tribute CBP, I'm building a '67 Mustang coupe.
  22. Well; you know I'm down......anyone else??
  23. Sounds like there is a great story there?
  24. Awsum Peter!! Since I was a kid, I've Loved the Stone,Woods and Cook team cars!! You've done some reall great work!! I'm planning a S,W&C project when I finish a couple of projects that are ongoing now. Thanks for sharing, Roy P.S. I took a poetic license with a Davey Allison car I'm working on and painted it with Tamiya's black metalic paint, so I get it.
  25. Looking good Scotty, very nice II!! it's like deja vu!! I know I really regretted trading my 1st Cobra II for an '84 GT hatch. But I did manage to buy another great '77 black-n-gold Cobra II that I've now owned since 1987. Scotty, we should do a build project in honor of the 50th anniversary coming up. ??? Roy
