From one Ray to another..... thank you !

Interior pretty much finished .

Less than 8 hours I would guess. Only about 3 to this point.

Started building this kit I got off the bay . Said was new but was not exactly true but decided to keep it and go forward . So far I painted the interior and the engine mostly cuz of the color but also that plastic look the parts had . Strange that the box clearly shows the engine is wired . The instructions show mounting the distributor and wiring . The parts break done does not show one included . I used a MAD distributor. Do far I found a couple parts missing . Radiator hose was missing so I will make one . There was only one valve cover so I grabbed a pair from the parts box . I stripped some chrome from some engine parts and painted them . I drilled out the holes in the front axle . There were holes there but I made them larger . The engine did not fit in the chassis as it was and I had to Dremel off a tab that was keeping it from dropping in place . That’s were I am now . I will say the body does have a very nice paint finish . .

Got this die cast kit a couple days ago . Seller claimed it was new . It was not ! Lots of pieces were/are loose , some assembly was done . I opted to keep it anyway because I wanted this kit and no others were on the bay at the time . Will build pretty much stock out of the box but I will paint the interior as I don’t care for the color it is molded in .

Just a quick and simple build . I used a resin body which I believe is a Flintstone item . Chassis and such is from the AMT Fiat double dragster kit . Has a MAD distributor .Floor and firewall are simple sheet plastic . Paint is Mystic Emerald Green with silver lower section . Decals from parts box and was clear coated ,

I would call that a good score !

Just these tires and wheels from The Gasser Garage . Hopefully they will work to replace the destroyed tires that were in this vintage kit .

Been working a little on this drag car . I believe the resin Ford body is a Flintstone item . Chassis and engine is the AMT Fiat double dragster item . Had to modify the chassis a little . Body was supposed to be a drop on but we all know how that goes . Making a floor and firewall from sheet plastic .
