    Had this as a Revell kit many years ago . Thought I would take another crack at it . My first job was at a Texaco station so I will do it red with Texaco decals .

    I bought a resin 1962 Ford and the kit is pretty nice, clean pieces. However the hood is a little flat and I need to add a slight curve. I tried the hot/warm water bend and put in cold water and it did seem to work but later when I checked it it seemed to have returned to the original flat condition. Any other method to try ? Thanks

    Thanks for the info but I am not trying to make a exact replica since its only a two door kit anyway so I am taking some liberties. As for the question earlier about the caster...... I checked the mailing address and it says from Brent Chapman....... A W Chapman Fabricators. Does that mean anything to anyone ?

    Oh boy , these kits can be a chore but took great when done plus a lot of satisfaction.

    Thanks guys. I did get a message from a member that turned me on to a nice Texaco set. Since a Texaco station was my first job I will go with them. Remember full service ? I pumped the gas, checked the oil and cleaned the windshield. And other services when asked. Those days are gone.

    I have the chassis pretty much done . Wheels and tires pretty much what I had back in 68/69 . Did not have duals but since the kit had them I used them . Will work on interior next .

    Wondering if anyone prints these ? I just ordered the Atlantis version of the old Revell kit. The Atlantis kit has only Army and Sinclair decals according to the box cover. This kit is molded in green which i suspect is why the Mobile decals are not included. I would also be happy with Texaco decals. Thanks guys.
