Looking good Bill. -
I am stuck with a treadmill mostly during the summer but I much rather walk outside if given an option.

What did you see on the road today?

I was pleased that the weather here in AZ. has finally changed. Was able to get out and take a early afternoon walk with out the 100 + degree weather . Was a pleasant 59 when I took a walk on the paths behind my house .

Thank you Larry. -
When I had a couple of cats ( miss them ) One of them would sit by one of my sliding doors and just watch the back yard. Sometimes an outside cat would come by and they would just hiss at each other. Quite different than with your cat.

Monogram/Hasagawa 427 Shelby Cobra
cobraman replied to cobraman's topic in Other Racing: Road Racing, Salt Flat Racers
Thanks Jim. It may be the racing windscreen that makes it look longer but it is not. The Monogram kit is better than the Fujimi IMO. -
Sweet looking 32, nice paint.

This kit is all Monogram . The instructions are the only difference from regular Monogram kit . This was going to be the Essex Wire car but even having 3 sets of decals and coating them they just did not work . So , I end up with a model that is not a replica of a actual race car . Painted with Tamiya Racing White and cleared with Duplicolor 1k clear . Decals just from my decal stash .

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks much Johnathan. -
Dan, maybe you know something about this. I read an article a short time ago ( can't recall where ) that they tested a new Lightning pulling a 6,000 lb. ( I believe ) trailer and it could only to 85 miles. Have you heard or read that ?

Very nice, well done !

Straight axle with springs.
cobraman replied to cobraman's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Thanks Mark. I got that parts tree from Atlantis and I did not notice that about the springs. I need to take a closer look. -
