Thanks Carl. I just noticed in the above pic that the door handle was falling off. So much for the Krystal Klear adhesive. I fixed it with some super style glue.

Here is a photo of it all done and put in a case and ready to ship to my buddy .

Went to catch a movie with the wife . Saw Kingsmen . Good mindless fun . After that lunch at The Habit . Good burger .

Wife went to Hobby Lobby for some decorations and bought this for me . So much for not building anymore . Also working on a Cobra . What the heck happened ?

So, I liked this so much I went to the Bay to have a look see. Sure enough I found 3. All were about 50 bucks with the shipping. Too much for me for a kit I would probably mess up anyway. I really do like this however.

Thanks guys . Good luck finding a cheap one but they can be had . After about a two month search and only finding one on the bay for 60.00 plus 15.00 shipping I saw this one for a buy it now for 25 dollars with a ship of around 7 bucks. Wrong side drive but I heard there is one with an option for both .

This purchase will most likely come as no surprise . Just another Cobra . This one to build . Have one in my unbuilt collection but felt like I wanted to build again after building that MGB for my buddy .

Thanks guys. Luggage rack is from a Corvette model as kit does not include one and my buddy's car does have one.

The kit does supply three wipers so I just drilled another hole and added the third wiper. The kit does also come with an up top but it is molded an all clear plastic and I decided to not paint it up .

Thanks for the comments fellows. As for ride height, it is stock from the kit. Now with the real cars the ride height on the rubber bumper cars were 2 inches higher to meet safety standards.

First model I have built since I quit building a few months ago . My friend bought one of these cars at a estate sale . After a search I finally found a reasonably priced example of this model . What you might expect from a curbside kit . Not bad and I think the wire wheels are done nicely . Painted it with Duplicolor Flame Red which looked like a close match . Built stock except for the luggage rack that I bought on the bay since the kit does not come with one . Ignore the wires if you can , they are to hold it in the case when I get one . Could be better but I guess my skills are not as good as they once were , not that they were ever great !

Got those to but a 12 Ga. can do a lot of wall damage.
