Landing at Sky Harbor ? About 30 min. from my house. Been there many times. Prescott is about a 2 hour drive from the airport more of less and the old town there is nice. The building from Back to the Future is there . Have family there. How long will your trip be ?

As much as I love Cobra's I could not have one of those.

Unusual Different Build

I like that rod made with a Pontiac Tempest ( I think ) ? -
Thank you guys. I had no idea that someone made "real ones" . That's just not right ! Hey Jim, I quit building every week it seems. I will always build Cobra's. Being retired I find I do need something to do besides doing stuff around the house.

Unusual Different Build

Wasn't there a kit to turn a 90's Thunderbird into a 49 or 50 Ford ? I think it had a front and rear clip ??????????? -
Nice looking model.

Thanks guys. Eric, if it made you smile that's great. I am always trying to think of different ways to build a Cobra for my collection, silly or not. How many ways can I build a Cobra ???

I don't know Tom, I'm guessing you didn't have to pay to go to your meeting. -
Can't say i didn't warn you. Used a built Manx kit I had and just made pan longer.

OK , as most of you know I like Cobra's . I do have a collection but I am always trying to build one different than the normal red or blue ,etc . I have built a few that are not the norm . I came up with this idea so I went ahead with it . Remember I did not say it was a good idea . In fact to be honest I think I had a moment of stupidity . I decided since we are all friends here I would post it anyway . Look at your own risk ! You have been warned ! Just for fun .

Hey Jim. I went to Sedona last year. Had a great time. We liked the open bus (trolly ) tour which was nice. Pointed out many rocks that looked like Snoopy for example. We ( wife and I ) were on the last tour of the day and the only people on the bus ! The driver was great very informative. The church in the rocks was nice to visit. Also the Jeep tours are fun. I think we were on the Pink Jeep Tours one. I would email for free information packet. Nice little town to walk around in. Good places to eat. We only stayed about a day and a half and can not remember the motel we stayed in. You mentioned going to Surprise. I have a sister and also a BIL ( not a married couple, two different homes ) and while it is a nice town I can't really give you any reason to go there. If you have friends or are looking to relocate there that's a different story. I was just there yesterday as a matter of fact. You could go visit the lake. Lake Pleasant it's called. Been going there every couple of weeks for 7 years or so. Perhaps someone who lives there knows some places I am unaware of. I also hiked in the White Tank Mountains. Not sure that is Surprise but if not it is fairly close. As I said its a nice clean town that has a ton of shopping and many, many place to eat. If you go have a great time ! There is also a nice zoo off of the 303 not far from Surprise. You would also pass a zoo most likely going from Sedona to Surprise. Can't recall the name but we stopped there also. They have a nice zip line at that one but it was closed when we were there.

Saw that movie a couple weeks ago and posted about it here. I agree with what you said, Movie was too long and boring and the music ( if you can even call it that ) sucked. It was very loud but would have still been bad even at a lower volume. Just one mans opinion. -
Nice job on all of them Bob. Never seen those kits look any better.

Today my sister and brother in law took my wife and I to a birthday lunch for my wife. We went to Cracker Barrel in Surprise. We did get a surprise in that we were informed that some unknown person picked up the tab for our table. We were told the people had left but that the man was a Vet and had noticed my BIL who was wearing one of his Marine Devil Dog hats. A stranger picked up our bill which I guess would had been about 60 bucks. We all felt bad that whoever did that was gone and we could not thank him. What a guy this must have been. We were very grateful and we agreed we will need to do the same thing in the future for someone.
